I would leave ZERO stars but that not an option…read more We purchased a house that Mr Jensen did handy man work at. I don't know where to start with disgust. Maybe the bathrooms...he shoddily installed tile in the bathrooms. When he reinstalled the toilets he never raised the toilet flanges so as you can guess the smell is nauseating with sewer gas. The toilets were hand tightened to the floor with ZERO caulk around them, which I guess is probably a good thing making it easier for us to get it fixed correctly. Second he painted and rehung the closet rods, well he was inches away from the studs with screws shorter than an inch and it only took 2 days for our closet to end up on the floor. Stud finders work way better than the old knock method. He also doesn't own a level. None of the closets are level. Down stairs it looks like a bow, he was so UNLEVEL he couldn't get the screws to go in so it vibrates. Real classy, a 3-4" drop makes you feel real good about the install. When he installed laminate wood floor in the kitchen and dining room he must not of owned a vacuum or broom because the rocks or other debris are now poking through the flooring. He installed a chandelier in the dining room and finger tighten all the screws and they keep falling off and it's a huge UGLY fixture. The thresholds at the exterior doors have a 1/4" gap under them. Lord only knows what else we'll find in this house. But do your self a favor and never hire him. Warn all your friends and fa

He had to come back to repair the same door three times. When he repainted our bathroom he left his painters tape up and the paint layers are uneven (you can still see the previous color in some spots). During one of these visits he's left our house unlocked even after having a key left for him. He's recently been hired to repaint the trim and fix the roof. When he was painting the garage he left the garage door wide open and left the property! Then he left after he was finished. He left paint - thinner covered chips of paint on our porch (we have pets), more paint debris in our fresh flower bed, left painters tape on the windows and sealed the windows shut with paint! To top it off, he spends the first 45 minutes after he gets here to talk on his phone! The fact that this guy still has a job at this company is astounding. I've left several complaints with my Landlord who doesn't seem to understand the seriousness of the matter. Buyer beware! If you get a cheap bid you're going to get cheap work!
