Thankfully Hector with HNE Buildings, the subcontractor she uses was pleasant and reasonable. We had issues from the beginning. No communication what so ever after we made our order with Lisa. We waited 9 weeks before we even reached out. We were told we were looked over and she wasn't sure when they could fit us in. Waited another couple days with no phone call to give us any kind of updates on anything. Reached out again and she said the sub would be here. The day comes, my husband takes off half a day to be here, and they show up at 5PM. That left them an hour of day light to work. THEY LEAVE THEIR TRAILER PARKED IN OUR DRIVE WAY WITH NO WAY FOR ME TO LEAVE. I couldn't go to work the next day. We notice blocks have been taken from our own property to try to "level" the building. Yes it was our mistake to not have the ground leveled completely before the install. However, I expect after paying over 4k to have a conversation with me before materials are taken from my property and decided to be used how they see fit. It looked horrible AND the blocks raised the building another 8 inches causing it to touch the power line above. I called Hector to tell him this wasn't going to work. It looks horrible and it is dangerously in contact with the powerline. He didn't know of a solution since the ground wasn't level, so I told him to come get the materials since I couldn't have the powerlines in contact with the carport. Then I call Lisa to explain the situation. The phone call started off with attitude from the start. With her saying "I'm on the other line with Hector, but I want to hear your side of the story first before you hear what I have to say" with a matter of fact tone in her voice. So I start off with explaining the blocks were taken off my property and used to "level" the building- she cuts me off- LET ME JUST STOP YOU THERE. Why wasn't the ground level? She just keeps repeating this and talking over me, not letting me get a word in on explaining the entire situation. She hangs up on me. Calls me husbands phone. I answer. She said I WANT TO TALK TO YOU HUSBAND....I said he is with our child at the moment and her response was: SURELY TO GOODNESS YOU CAN WATCH YOU OWN CHILD....I'm BAFFLED that this company has been in business as long as they have. I'm a customer. I'm paying money for your services. Part of that services should include communication and us being a part of deciding HOW to fix the leveling issue. Thankful for Hector for making it all work in the end. He cut the legs to make it work. I would suggest going directly to HNE Building and Carports. There were mistakes on their part but he had the respect and decency to work with us and never disrespected me during the process.

We had a great experience with Window World of Central Arkansas. We first had them install three…read moresliding patio doors, and Derek, our sales rep, was very thorough with the measurements and clearly knew what he was doing. We appreciated being able to order doors that are brown on the outside to match our house trim and white on the inside to match the interior. The patio doors qualified for a federal energy-efficiency tax credit, which was an added bonus. They all came with screens, and when I accidentally walked through one of them, Joseph, the installer, picked it up, took it back to the shop, repaired it, and returned it at no charge. After that project went well, we ordered two entry doors -- one for the laundry room side entrance and one for the front door. We were able to provide the exact Sherwin-Williams paint colors we wanted, and the doors were professionally spray-painted with a smooth finish. The outside is green and the inside is white to match our trim. Joseph did the installation and did an excellent job. We supplied the hardware, including smart locks, and he took the time to read the instructions, install everything correctly, and make sure the locks were working properly. The laundry room door was a little tight after installation, so we called, and they came back within about a week to adjust it. They were also very good about calling ahead to let us know when they would arrive, so communication was excellent. In terms of value, we felt Window World delivered a strong balance of quality and price. The patio doors were especially competitive compared to other quotes we received, and even though the entry doors were more of an investment, the custom paint, trim work, and professional installation made it feel well worth it. Overall, we're very happy with the quality of the doors, the installation, and the service from both Derek and Joseph. We would definitely recommend Window World of Little Rock and look forward to using them again for future window upgrades.

There is no question that the bathroom turned out as well as it did directly because of the effort of those two men, obviously with the support of Best Builders itself.
