The cart itself was clean, well-maintained, and ran perfectly the whole time. It made getting around the island so much more fun and convenient--definitely the way to explore SPI! Prices were reasonable, pickup/drop-off was smooth, and everything felt very organized. If you're visiting South Padre Island, I 100% recommend renting a golf cart from here. We were 7 miles from the store, but it took 45 minutes and multiple calls for them to come find us. We were then yelled at and charged for going past the distance limit that was never communicated, nor in the signed contract. We were told it was verbally communicated to us in Spanish, but our driver clearly did not speak any Spanish and could not understand even if this was said. Once we proved that they could not fine us, they called the police and said we can listen to their rules or deal with the police. Not wanting any problems, we paid the fee and the store owner told us to hurry up and leave before the cops came. Overall the whole experience was dangerous, ridiculous, and just flat out shady. Would never recommend this scam of an establishment.

When I tried to cancel my reservation, they said to file a claim with my credit card company (so my cc company would cover the loss and they would still get paid).
