Wow, I'm so surprised to see the negative reviews here. My experience with Dr. Frazier was quite the opposite. During this time of crisis, I had a very difficult time finding a doctor for my condition. All the doctors I tried making appointments with kept cancelling, until I came across Dr. Frazier. Because of the pandemic we're in, she has resulted to doing tele-videos to help her patients, which I really appreciated because 1. I don't have to come out of my house 2. I am not exposing myself or anyone else to whatever we may have 3. She's still out here helping people while many other doctors have stopped seeing patients all together. She was so sweet and very understanding during my appointment. She took her time to ask questions and listen to me. The part that stood out the most was when she said "I will support you", because that meant a lot to me considering the circumstances. I highly recommend her and hope others who have had good experiences will share what a phenomenal bedside manner she has. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Hawwa Frazier for two year now and at first I thought she was great. She seemed really caring and understanding. Since COVID she has just gone down hill. She is trying to make a quick buck no matter what. She is now charging $100 for medical notes, fees for sending any medical information to another physician and will only see patients online. She will also charge an extra technology fee to see you remotely. I'm truly disappointed that when people have medical needs Dr. Hawwa Frazier is making sure she is making a profit by all means necessary. I'm going to find a new primary care physician but of course have to leave all medical records behind because she will charge me an arm and a leg to send it over to a new place. read more

Condescending and potentially dangerous medical advice. I had a breast lump (turns out I'm fine and it was likely resulting from a splinter gone awry...it's totally gone now). First she sent me to a Third rate PLASTIC SURGEON in East Brunswick, who had the filthiest office I've ever seen. My spouse actually wanted to walk out just from the waiting room. When we went into the exam room, there was a pile of surgical instruments on the table and dollar store wipes next to them. He said it didn't need to be biopsied because I had a lump from shaving my armpits. The lump wasn't even in my arm pit. Of course, there was NO WAY I would have let him biopsy me in that office, anyway. I then went to an actual doctor at Raritan Bay Women's Center (they were great!) for the biopsy. The ultrasound guided needle biopsy came back that it wasn't malignant but had weird cells that could be from tuberculosis OR a foreign body injury like a splinter. Dr. Frazier decided to run with the tuberculosis and said that living in NJ could be a risk factor. How NJ is a risk factor for TB is beyond me, since it's a disease predominantly found in third world countries. I even explained to her that I'm active outdoors and most likely had a splinter that I didn't even notice. So, I was sent for various x-rays and blood work that showed I didn't have TB. When this all came back negative, she wanted to send me for a second biopsy, insisting I needed a needle biopsy and then removal. This is what was done the first time. Despite stating this type of biopsy was already done, and her having the records of such, she insisted it was not done and noted in my medical records that I declined further treatment despite risks. I spoke with the radiologist who performed the biopsy and he assured me I was fine and was appalled that she was insisting on the TB diagnosis. So now I have it in my medical records that I denied care for a breast lump that might be TB. The lump has since gone away and did turn out to be from a splinter. If I listened to her advice, I would have had my breast cut open by a filthy doctor in his disgusting office. This doesn't even cover the erratic and dangerous care given to my spouse, or the $200 that she swindled out of my spouse, under false pretenses. I've since fired her as a doctor. Unfortunately, this leaves me without my needed ADHD medication, while I seek another doctor, leaving it extremely difficult to complete my classes and work. I hope she doesn't try to make obtaining them from another doctor difficult as retaliation. read more

Dr. Fraziers office is the absolute worst establishment ever with the worst staff. They are all rude and don't want to listen to anything you have to say along with always cutting you off. If you come here get ready to be treated like shit. The most unprofessional doctors office that I have ever encountered. If I could put no stars I would have. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My experience with this office has been nothing but stress, frustration and anxiety since my one and only visit in October. The initial visit was strange (an hour wait being the only patient in the waiting room, a $150 deposit on an annual visit my insurance covers 100%, I was told by the doctor that she could prescribe me medications that were unnecessary to me right off the bat, told me my heartbeat concerned her - never been told that before, and offered me physical therapy for whiplash I mentioned I had from 2yrs ago). Dealing with the refund I was promised was another thing. For one I never received a bill from them in regard to the service I was charging for. I'd be told I'd get a call back but hear nothing until I was able to physically go to the location days later. This happened every single time. Each encounter I had I was told a different story - there was no accountability from the doctor or her nasty receptionist. I have been met with disrespect, lies and complete lack of empathy. I do not feel they cared about me as a patient or repeat business for that matter. It's really so sad how upset I was made by this whole ordeal because I truly want to support a black female doctor - this office was a huge mistake! read more

This was the absolutely worst doctors visit in my entire life. Not only that but I was treated abominable from the moment I stepped foot in the office. I arrived early and was told to take a seat. 25 minutes later the receptionist asks for my insurance card and ID. 30 minutes after that she tells me that my plan does not cover well visits. It does I asked her to double check that she put in the information correctly she said No but I can call and get a reference number. I called and got a reference number my insurance company tried asked to speak with them and they refused. I waited another 40 min to be told that I need to pay a $200 deductible if I want to be seen. I said I have a $25 copayment and no deductible. They said it's their office policy. The said can you please check your information the office manager gets mad and storms out of the room leaving a young man a young teen and maybe an 18 yo girl to try and explain why they need $200. She then returns the office tells them to leave and tells me I need to pay or leave. I say I will pay but I want to lodge a formal complaint of her treatment and ask for the doctors email address and her name she refuses and says that's against HIPPA law. Then closes a the window in my face and tells me to leave or she will call the police on me. She then went on to lie and say my appointment was a no show so I could not write this review. I hope the doctor sees this and has a talk with her staff. However I have my doubts because I see her office is known for their rude behavior. I have never been treated so unjustified in all my life. I was speaking kindly to them the entire time and they treated me like dirt and refused to take accountability for their negligence and then lied by saying I was a no show. read more

I've dealt with chronic illness and pain for many years. Because of that, I have seen countless number of doctors. I have never had such a negative experience with a doctor as I did with Dr. Hawwa Frazier of MBS Trinity Health, LLC. Her behavior is extremely erratic, unethical, and unprofessional, her billing practices are questionable, her staff is rude, unprofessional, immature, and incompetent. My last appointment with Dr. Frazier was so negative that I had no plans of returning. Out of nowhere, she refused to fill a prescription that she had me on for a year and that you *must* wean off of. She outright misrepresented a conversation that she had with another one of my doctors. After arriving home and calming down from my appointment with her, I called her office to ask what I should do about the prescription that I needed to wean off of. Her receptionist told me that Dr Frazier requested to see me the next day, that she was "abrupt" at the previous appointment, and wanted to talk to me about it. I returned the next day at the scheduled time. I was told by the front desk that a charge from *last year* of almost $200.00 suddenly appeared on my account just that morning, and that I would have to pay it or Dr. Frazier said she would not see me. I asked to see the paperwork for this alleged bill, but they refused to show it to me. I was extremely upset at everything going on with this office, and paid the bill, expecting to be able to speak to the doctor about it. After the bill was paid, a medical technician came out to the waiting room and told me, in front of a waiting room of patients, that Dr. Frazier refused to see me and announced a bogus diagnosis as the reason. Again, this was done in the public waiting room. I left the office, out approx $200.00, and still not given even a 2 week supply of the medication that I needed to wean off of, medication that Dr. Frazier prescribed for about a year! The office also refused to give me access to my medical records so that I could immediately seek help from another doctor. I was told that I would have to pay $51.00 and wait 30 days. I was also locked out of my patient portal account. When I complained to Dr. Frazier about my privacy being breached and being completely embarrassed in the public waiting room, she told me that I breached my own privacy by *giving my name* when I checked in to my appointment. When I expressed concern about the medication being abruptly stopped, I was told to go the emergency room. This is the type of person Dr. Frazier is. You can draw your own conclusion. At home, I reviewed my own billing records and realized that Dr. Frazier billed me for something that she wrongly billed the insurance for, and that insurance specifically stated that she could not charge over an approx $4.00 amount, which I had already paid the previous year. Her own bookkeeper told me that I was wrongly charged, that she was confused by the charge, but that Dr. Frazier refused to issue a refund. There were other issues with the office such as prescriptions being written out wrong, my account being sent to collections "by mistake," the one and only time I allowed Dr. Frazier to personally take blood resulted in a large hematoma (something that has never happened to me before, and I get blood taken regularly as a thyroid patient), and messy record keeping that I was ultimately blamed for. I should have run away with the warning signs, and I kick myself for not listening to my gut sooner. Since I only saw her for about 5-10 minutes per appointment, it was easy to just brush it off. I will never make that mistake with any doctor again. I have never experienced anything like her office and warn any current or potential patients to tread carefully, especially if you're depending on Dr. Frazier for medication that cannot be abruptly stopped. There are reviews on google where other patients have similar complaints about this office regarding questionable billing, wrong diagnosis, and trouble getting paperwork. This is my personal opinion based on my experience as Dr. Frazier's former patient. UPDATE: As of 10/18/16, I am *still* waiting for refund of $196.09, which was illegally charged because Dr. Frazier claims to accept Medicare assignment. UPDATE: The State Board sent me a letter letting me know that Dr. Frazier assured them that I can have my medical records free of charge. She originally told me that I had to pay $51.00 for them. Hopefully, picking up my records will not turn into a new nightmare with this office. UPDATE: My credit card refunded the $196.09, as it was determined to not be a valid charge. read more

This office is SO DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! During my child's evaluation (around 9:30 am) with the Early Intervention program, they requested the medical records from my audiologist that Dr Frazier referred me to after my child failed her 2 year check-up hearing test. The e-mails were not coming through from the audiologists office so they asked me to call my pediatricians office and see if they could send them. When I called Dr. Fraziers office, her OFFICE MANAGER Dashira gave me a complete attitude from the beginning! When I asked her to look at my child's files and see if the audiologist sent them to her office she told me that she remembers everything that comes in e-mail and fax (even though her first hearing test at the audiologist was 6 MONTHS AGO) and refused to look up the records for me. Then when I basically demanded them, she said that she is busy with patients (every time I'm in the waiting room waiting for an hour after my appointment time she's barely doing ----) So I knew she wouldn't call back and insisted on waiting on the phone. I waited 40 minutes before hanging up. The audiologists office went above and beyond and even FAXED me the paperwork before the therapists left which was exactly what I needed because my daughter DID get approved for the program ONLY because of medical reasons from her medical records. I finally decided to call back and tell Dashira how unprofessional and RUDE she is at 1:20pm and to also ask why all these hours later she has yet to call me back and tell me whether she does or doesn't have the medical records. She then continues to cut me off with her fake and condescending apology and then HUNG UP ON ME when I told her about herself and how DARE she refuse to look up my daughters health records when she, as a trained worker of the medical field whose DUTY is to help people, REFUSE me of that right !! Then I called back and spoke with a girl named Helene who told me she was fairly new, but at least she had RESPECT and COMPASSION. She filed the complaint for me and seemed to understand my frustration. Honestly, this is NOT the first time I had a problem with this office.. Always 40 minutes in the waiting room and then at least 20 until the doctor comes in. One time my daughter was sick and the aid had me take all her clothes off to get her weighed and no one came back for over a half hour and I made the choice to clothe her since she was already sick and it was winter SO- then another half hour (after a 40 minute wait in the waiting room to be seen at all) the Dr came in and gave me a confused face.. I asked her if there was a problem and she said she wanted to ask me the same thing!! Then told me that there was an emergency, her patient was having a miscarriage and wouldn't i want the same attention? (I'm pregnant too) Well, yeah and I also would have one of my aids tell my other patients that it will be a while not have them wait 2 hours like they don't have anything else better to do than wait for me without as much as a "she will be with you shortly". Also, she went on vacation and did not let her patients know or have another Doctor fill in. OOOOOK then. Dr. Frazier seems knowledgeable and I did have a visit or 2 where she was nice and normal but after that last visit and then this interaction I am changing pediatricians and I truly believe that this place is horrible and is not accommodating to their patients. I would NEVER refer anyone I care about or even just KNOW to this place. read more
