It was a very "used car salesman" vibe from the beginning and my boyfriend and I should've known better. Red flags from the get go, like telling me we needed to sign in the next 3 days or he had to "build a whole house" and would take much longer. Despite telling T I wanted a fully custom bathroom, my original estimate was around 2500. After being roped in it was closer to eight. But this was the least of my issues. Completely inconsistent timing, "T" and "M" telling me so many lies they couldn't even keep up with each other. Showing up randomly, not showing up on days they said they would, and sometimes a complete lack of communication. In the end it looked okay... for a day or so. However now I have shifting tiles and messy groutwork in my mosaic bathroom. They also made a complete mess all over my house and left trash like open candy bars and McDonald's bags everywhere. Didn't clean up after themselves. I called complaining because not only did they NOT fill the holes in my drywall, but they didn't paint my radiator! Both of which I paid for!!!! The floor tile grout looks like crap now only a few weeks later. There were spacers left in it and it is stained? Probably because they busted a pipe in my sink and water exploded everywhere and they rushed to get it done when the floor was still wet. They never came back for detailing and let someone paint who left spots around the light fixture they installed. Didn't paint before they installed it... Why exactly? They sent someone to fix the pipes that were leaking after bathroom vanity was installed but I was told that Monday they would come and touch up the grout. Heard nothing from either of them, and then they blocked me on Facebook four days later. EDIT: The owner has contacted me and is coming to fix the messy work very soon.

Initially, I called another construction outfit, and after telling me they could do the job, and after many delays, they later said the job was too small for them. Then I came across Biilt. Biilt, took the job, and I couldn't be happier. During their inspection it was discovered that there was some rotted wood to the original overhang. The house is old, really old, so this didn't come as a surprise. The Biilt crew was able rebuild the entire overhang and at a reasonable price. Construction, roofing, even clean up, they did it all, and their staff were polite and willing to work with me though the project. Cody, Aaron and the rest of the Biilt team did a fantastic job. The deck and overhang look great now and will probably outlast the rest of the house. Solid professional construction. In the future, my first call for quality construction needs, will be to Biilt. We had a master suite added on, including laundry, closet space, and a full bath. First and foremost - they were on budget and on time FOR EVERYTHING. I had heard so many horror stories from friends who had contract work done, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went and how responsive everyone at BiiLT was. There of course were issues. There always are - but Brent was always there to walk us through what was going on and ensure things didn't get off pace. Were I to do any work like this again - I would call them first without looking anywhere else. We even had issues with a neighbor who was just a pain during the process. Brent intervened and just handled everything. And the addition? My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is beautiful. I love my new master suite.
