I've been to many Officeworks stores around Sydney and unfortunately have found many of the customer service staff working on the floor here being quite unhelpful, unprofessional and ignorant. They hardly come to customers even though they're doing nothing. Even if a staff is busy with something other than serving a customer, they must approach to the new customer immediately to assist by leaving all other things aside. I often struggled to get hold of someone even though the store hardly had any customers at that time. Some of them were even quite rude as they were asked for assistance. Why? Tilly's now has more space to sell their quality arts and crafts supplies; and an abundance of it as well which is a good thing. Prices have come down slightly (although still a little bit pricey) and artists get more of a choice of paints and different canvas sizes in particular. A great business to buy quality paints, canvas and cardboard. Why bother going to the newsagencies nearby to buy cardboard when you can buy some tough, quality cardboard here. Love the Tilly's signage on the storefront, and just the shopfront overall. Airy yet spacious in their new locale in tandem with friendly customer service. Just a great locale and really belongs in Rozelle, and will continue to do well for many years to come. For the highest quality art and craft supplies, and you don't mind spending a bit of money to paint something extraordinary (still turns out to be much cheaper than buying some art) for your living space, then Tilly's is your home.

I rang Vertifix and from our first conversation, I knew that Wayne knew what he was talking about and was completely on the same page about the type of look and feel I wanted to go for. He even had the envelopes on hand to suit the size of the invitations and in the colours and finish I wanted. I ventured out to see him the next day, and I showed him the 3/4 finished artwork I wanted to get printed and he had his crafty graphic designer Jorge make them print ready at no cost (just checking it over to see it was ok for print and PDFing it for me) and then Jorge made little additional stationary elements with the same design look and feel for a small fee, which I also got printed with them. They were all done on the same day on which I asked for them, and as promised, they looked sublime! Super friendly, extremely efficient and fast, with fantastic knowledge and customer service, the guys here really blew me away. I felt like I could trust them since they were so obliging and ready to help me out with all aspects of the job. Let's face it - most print jobs are important, right? You're trying to make an impression with something be it a report or presentation, marketing materials or personal invitations etc... Unless you are a big account, they hand you from one account manager to another, and when they don't communicate to each other and something goes wrong, they tell you its your problem and not theirs!! We paid hundreds of dollars for one sample, which they don't even bother cutting for you!! They make you pay the full amount upfront and then when you are done they will send you additional invoices even if it didn't turn out right and then if you don't pay they threaten you with debt collectors!! DONT GO TO CARBON8, there are a bunch of good printers out there! Go somewhere else!!
