Although these properties are only about two years old, there are also signs of poor workmanship--such as mold inside the bathroom cabinets that appears to have been simply painted over. Additionally, if you use their property management company, you are required to use their in-house team for repairs, which limits your ability to compare pricing or negotiate the scope of work. There have also been three evictions in two years, and each tenant turnover has cost approximately $5,000-$6,000 in repairs.

I had sufficient funds in both savings and checking, so called Customer Service. Because of the fact I do not have a mortgage, credit card, or other loan through Truist, they will now charge me a monthly maintenance fee. $180 per year to use my money to give those loans to earn the interest that keeps their profits rolling. I may earn a few dollars in interest over that same year. The point of personal banking is that your financial institution PAYS YOU for allowing them to use your money on all sorts of profitable investments. To charge you $20 a month because you are not in debt to them is absolutely insane. If your grandma or anyone who may not have these debts to Truist hasn't carefully checked their statements, do them a kindness and protect them. I'm closing my account with them today, and transferring all my funds to a local institution who does not charge me to use my money to make their profits. This is a trend that can not gain any steam.

The owners spent time with me, invested in me as a client, and gave me a great customer service. However, I was recently dumped as a client by them, with no warning. They claim to have mailed me a letter and emailed me, but I have no record of either. Before dumping me someone, anyone, could have picked up the phone to call me. But CrestCore now treats it's clients like a number, not a person. The old owners knew my name and had my cell phone. But the new regime can't even call me before they drop me. This situation left me scrambling to take care of my tenants. Now, they have my rent revenue that they've collected (Over $4,700) and they will not respond to any calls or emails.
