They provided GPS charts that show them walking a good amount of distance, however it seems that is all they were doing... simply walking around and not passing out the flyers. We spent a good amount of money on this promotion and honestly, this is the very reason we were skeptical about this type of promotion in the first place. They tried to make up for it and get us to spend more money to pass out flyers the next day... NO THANKS. We knew that tourism was going to be slow and we really wanted to focus on getting more local clients and thought SKC would be the smart choice. Over a 4 month period, they managed to build us a website that did not work properly (they told us it would be better than the one we already had and convinced me it would be best for us) and we went weeks of not getting a single phone call or email from a new client, because the contact page on the website did not forward us any emails, and on the social media they were supposed to manage, on numerous occasions on our posts they put the phone number to a different business they managed (but another tattoo shop, therefore sending potential clients their way) in addition to posting content that has nothing to do with our business. We had a 6 month contract with them, and I didn't make the full 6 month before I told them we're done. They acknowledged their mistakes and did not charge us the last month. I told them I wanted a refund and they refused. A few months later our business was closed. We put a lot of heart and soul into this and once SKC got involved, it was the beginning of the end.
