However, in true Black Country style, they also serve hot pork baps for you to have with your latte. They are a couple of tables on the street, so I sat outside with a 99p cup of tea (comes in a big mug and then you can put your own milk and sugar) which was lovely and gave me a nice break from my charity shop tredging. The two blokes in there (seems unusual to see such a place run by young men, but all well and good) were friendly and polite and it looks like a popular place among the locals. Worth seeking out if you're thirsty and passing through (Blackheath).

I thought that i had written a review for Molly's before but cant see it so here goes…read more Molly's is a proper old fashioned type cafe serving all manner of cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, lunches etc. It has parking at the rear (although you can usually get parked somewhere on The Green) and has about 8 or 9 tables for 4 people. It gets extremely busy at lunchtimes - to be expected because of its quality reputation. The food is really good, well cooked and a fair price. The staff are incredibly happy and chatty and cant do enough to help. Oh and proper MUGS of tea. Win. They also do free delivery within 3 miles for orders of £8 which im guessing is quite popular with the local offices as im always seeing the Molly's vans round and about. Ive knocked one star off (i wish i could just take off half a star...) because their website is really quite rubbish. I wanted to link to it to show you the menu (as i was too busy scoffing my food and reading the paper to take loads of photos for you) but there are no menus, no photos nothing. But you don't go to Hadley's to be wowed by the décor. You go to eat a huge full English breakfast, served with a steaming mug of tea. The tea tends to have a reassuring film of grease floating on the surface, which bodes well for the food. The breakfasts are delicious and the service is speedy. You order at the counter, take a seat (upholstered in standard greasy spoon PVC) and await your food. There's normally a copy of the Mirror or Sun knocking about if you get bored. I also quite enjoy listening in to the conversations on neighbouring tables. The place is small, so it is hard not to! Last time there were two really hungover guys reliving the night before, pausing occasionally to bury their heads in their hands. It sounded like they'd had a great time. I love going to Hadley's during the winter, when the windows steam up and you can see blurry outlines of shoppers scurrying past.

Located right opposite the swimming baths and gym, I always end up having a brew before a gym session. Being this side of Harborne, works to Boo Boo's advantage as you don't have to take a walk down the High Street which can seem like a mammoth task on a Sunday morning! Every time I have been in, it has been very busy. With a couple of outside tables and a massive window, it's great when the sun is shining on us. The Coffee is most excellent because they use Allpress espresso beans from London which gives their drinks a massive edge over most places some places in Birmingham. Single origin is offered though a Chemex, another brew method not often seen in the second city. If Coffee and Tea isn't your bag then I can recommend one of the many smothies they offer, which can have protein added to them. Boo Boo coffee is very family friendly and you can pop your little ones in the play area they provide. This place has been come a favourite place of mine to have some alone time or catch up with friends. Sure you will love it!

The shop is small and quirky. They do accept reservations so if you are going to visit with friends it's worth booking ahead. There's some seating outside too. The coffee served here is excellent. I couldn't see anywhere advertising the sort of beans or specifics used. The coffee does stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the best in Birmingham though. The store also serves typical brunch which is available all day long. If your looking for a quick coffee or some brunch in harborne I would highly recommend it here!
