The Lakeside Centre is a camper van and camping resort with a the usual rules and none of the…read morebonuses of a clean modern resort. The pros: Hot water in wash up room. Clearly marked bins for rubbish, glass and recycling. Shower was not extra and they had shelves A purpose built BBQ that looked the part Two sheep popping in for a visit (made me smile) Fish jumping in the water The cons: Showers, while free were cold and dirty. Also they run on a token, so I knew I had to be very quick for fear the water would stop while I still had soap in my hair. No signs telling you how long the shower would last. Shower head was not great. Drain was blocked, so ended up standing in the used water. TV room seemed ok, but pool table was fecked. Duct tape used to repair the cloth. There was three piece furniture suite just dumped beside one of the motor home / caravans. The ground where we were instructed to go was slightly boggy in places from the recent rain. It was also beside a noisy road. Keep off the grass signs, these signs always baffle me in campsites. Lake could not be used for any activities on this occasion. We stayed one night and didn't really want to stay any longer. It was 20 EUR for our tent, car and two people. Shower was free.
