We are a happy (regular) customer and highly recommend Cathy&Carol's with a 10 stars review...

The staff was super helpful last week when we stopped in for a few graveside floral pieces to lay on family members' headstones. This is their new location, and it seems much larger and has an attached coffee shop/bakery next door, which is also very convenient, because the only other decent place to even grab a cup of coffee in this specific area seems to be the McDonald's across the street. We picked up fresh coffees, pastry and cake pops while there, which also were really good. I highly recommend the cake pop in peanut butter and vanilla. The prices are a little on the high side, and you can get flowers at Sam's Club for mixed bouquets for cheaper, but you can't order or have them delivered and they need to be trimmed etc. but the selection and helpfulness makes it worth the extra cost. We picked up two beautiful, large mixed fall bouquets for $9.99 each. The flowers were very fresh, well-chosen and bountiful for the price tag. They sell a large array of home decor and accessories, including vases, candles, mirrors and bowls as well, similar to Wayfair. I believe this company is now owned by the same individuals who bought Bentley Florist in Burton, which is also a great go to floral shop. We used them for a funeral in September, and had no problems.

Everything turned out even better than what she'd described. She fielded every question with ease and professionalism, making my planning that much simpler. Karen called on 7/13 stating they made two delivery attempts and no one was home so they were going to bring the flowers to the funeral home. I told her I did not want the flowers going to the funeral home as my grandfather's funeral was not for another two weeks. Karen then asked me to pick up the flowers and deliver them myself, I told her I could not do that as I live three hours away. She said she does not make a habit of delivering flowers to houses if someone is not home, I told her my grandmother was home but was going through a difficult time and to just leave them at her door. Karen then requested an additional payment of $10.

I think of all the things I would never ever want to buy and fill my house with. While the main house of The Weed Lady is technically a gift shop, it couldn't be further from the cheap, overpriced connotations mentioned above. They set the atmosphere in the entryway, with an assortment of tea, coffee, and cookies to enjoy while you browse (edit: this may only be present during Christmas shopping season. Still, a nice touch!). It's obvious that every item in this shop has been deliberately chosen by the owner, and each one uniquely captures the natural environment. Cedar and sage scented candles, stone vases, tempered votives, long-stemmed glassware, handmade soaps... you could spend hours looking at all of the ornaments and decorations on display. Gorgeous, inviting, warm.. it doesn't even begin to describe the atmosphere that they have created in the 3 main rooms of the house. The Weed Lady is also a florist, with quite a large greenhouse in the back. Will definitely have to do more exploring here during the summer. The prices are a bit high, but also fair when considering you're paying for unique, quality products and excellent, knowledgeable service. Have recommended this place to many people in the area and will definitely be returning!
