I spent hours trying to get ahold of anyone who would be willing to just look at my car and see if it was safe to drive home. Everyone else told me they had no time for anything of that sort. I was 3 hours away from home and I am a 20 year old college student who knows nothing about cars. I was just visiting friends in West Plains. Jimmy did all he could to try to make it safe to drive home but at the end of the day, there was nothing he could have done for the car. He said he wouldn't feel safe having his own daughter drive in the car so he wouldn't say it was safe for me to do either. Since there was nothing we could do Jimmy then did everything he could to make sure I at least got a safe ride home. He contacted a towing place for me that would take both me and my car back to St. Louis. I knew going into this that my car was not going to be able to be fixed for the long run, but I at least needed to get a way home and someone to let me know if it was safe to do so. Jimmy took it to the next level to help me through this very stressful situation. I think that just goes to show beyond their abilities to fix damages on cars but also just be good people.

This is our main vehicle and knew we needed it repaired as soon as possible. After calling Mr. Dent, they told us it would be March before they could get the parts. This wasn't on them but rather due to a manufacturing shortage. They were so great and kept us well informed. They did an amazing job. They made sure the vehicle was cleaned inside and out before we got it back. I hope desperately we don't have to use Mr Dent again but if we do they will definitely be the place we choose.

But that's what happened to me. While driving across country it became imperative to have the brakes replaced on my truck. Lucky for me I found Gary's shop on the internet. He was friendly and agreed to fit my truck into his work for the day. My truck was fixed before he said it would be. He charged me a reasonable amount and my truck is running great. Took our car in to get a new alternator. The car came back with the ac compressor not working and…read morea terrible rattle coming from the front end. I looked under the car and all of the push rivets holding in the right front fender liner were missing. Looked up how to change an alternator in a 2014 Pathfinder and sure enough you have to remove the right front tire to get to it. The liner under the front bumper was also missing all the rivets. Barely holding it up in place so it drug on the ground and ruined it. Also the right front tire has a new bulge in the sidewall. Not sure how that could have happened. We took it back in and they checked out the compressor and said it was getting power but was not turning on so it needed replaced. I can understand that MAYBE the compressor happened to go out right when we brought it in for the alternator but everything else is just sloppy workmanship.

I sent a pricing request, to cutoff the old muffler and install a muffler I have. I sent this several days ago (7) and have as of yet to receive a reply to my request. I can only assume that my minor repair job is not important enough to reply to my request. I will have to continue my search for a place to have the work done I guess. Not great customer service if you can't take a minute to reply to a simple request.
