The disconnect was very apparent, as my party agreed separately that she was very slow and disoriented. We found her demeanor to be questionable. After discussion, we concluded if we sent our daughter to Bluff View we would be concerned with her stability as owner & admin. Overall, we will be crossing this off of our list for good. The school prepared my middle daughter for the challenges of University High School, and she will graduate from UC Davis as a double major with honors this spring. Additionally, our youngest daughter has benefited by going the whole route from kindergarten through 8th grade, and has really thrived in middle school. I couldn't be happier to have paid for the education they have gotten, and I hope other who really care about their child's education can benefit from this school as well.

The Carden method of teaching also includes physical education, music, French and art which leads to well-rounded children. The small campus also creates wonderful lifelong friendships amongst the students. If you are looking to prepare your child for high school and college, I am not aware of any school in Fresno / Clovis that better prepares them than Carden. The teachers were lovely and the education was great but having established lifelong friendships is one of the greatest blessings that you can give your children. The education system is designed to send kids to college and grad school if interested. You can literally go from kindergarten through med school building life-long connections and friends. I remember as a child when the developer Del Webb made a large donation for the purchase of the 40 acre campus. Many happy memories among my current Facebook friends from our formative years on spent on campus.

My friend and I had our children at this school, we thought it would provide a better education…read morethan even the Clovis North school district but we were both wrong. First they wanted me to pay a "donation" (bribe) to move my child to kindergarten, I was appalled and immediately moved my child to a Clovis North school 2 blocks from home. My friend's daughter on the other hand was battered and had a black eye and concussion from another student and the school did not inform her at all, her daughter told her when she was picked up from school! She had to call the police and make a report which they said will ne referred to the district attorney for child neglect. Even daycare centers have a mandate to report injuries, this school should honestly be shut down. The diocese does not supervise the principal who is not even on site half the time which was a shock to the diocese who said she isn't allowed to leave grounds without permission, well, she does all the time. If you live in a good school district do not consider sending your child here. They only care about money and using your child to make them more money, wish we never sent our child here.
