The restaurant is well presented with a mixture of booths and tables, as the hotel is attached to the Esprit Arena you can get a table by the window to look in. They allow smokers out onto the balcony, so if you want to look at the stadium you are free to. The food menu consists of staple hotel food, burgers, steaks and salads. I opted for the Mexican burger and I was not disappointed when it arrived. The portion size was good and as a lunch meal it certainly kept me filled for the rest of the day. The bar is well stocked, they had several good whiskeys on display, unfortunately i did not have the opportunity to sample any of them. The hot chocolate was good but the glass size ensured that you actual needed tow of them!! I actually went into the hotel as I needed access to wifi and the free wifi was tremendous. For free connection it was better than most paid wifi I use in England.

The rooms are spacious with a good bed and pillows. The room was clean and comfortable. The building is clean and the breakfast is also ok. Over all value for money is quite ok. Wifi works reasonably well and is free. It's a place I picked based on the fact that most of the normal hotels we use were fully booked due to a trade fair happening at the Messe !! Staff are friendly and helpful and it's good value for money. I would happily come back here again.

By now, we are Silver star members and at our last stay yesterday, they upgraded us to a suite on the 12th floor. The suite featured a large bedroom with a king-size bed an en-suite bathroom plus a 12-person conference room including a white board and a separate guest bathroom. The hotel offers an OK equipped gym (2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, one combo-machine for strength exercises plus some free weights) and a sauna There is fresh fruit, water and coffee in the lobby for free. It totally works for us, so I foresee more stays for us in the future.

The only flaw was the shower set up, no shampoo & conditioner which was strange, no door, thus good amount of splash bounced off the wall during shower. In addition, the room smelled bad a day after using the shower which was really bothersome. I spent some time & tracked the source down to the invisible drain under the wooden shower floor。 I am pretty sure it's either the drain or the wet underside of the shower floor that bred bacteria which caused bad smell. There's no access, no easy way to fix it, I ended up flushing the drain using the shower, wasted a lot of water but the problem went away.

We only had a bit of trouble at dinner because the kitchen was terribly slow. Unforgivable, so I'm dropping a star. But hospitality standards were good, and the taste was exquisite. Hope they can fix kitchen processing soon.
