Today I visited Ace in Miami, OK, to have my #100 propane tank refilled. I know I still had about…read more10 gallons of propane in the tank, but according to the store manager the store policy is they charge for the size of tank not by how many gallons it takes to refill. In my case today, I had the tank refilled at another location and only needed 11 gallons. If I had refilled the tank at Ace Hardware in Miami, I would have paid for the remaining 10 or so gallons in the tank...which I already owned. I believe this policy is not right. The tank is able to be topped off and I should only pay for that amount. I have been a Ace customer for several years, but based on my experience today, I will not shop at Ace Hardware again.

This place was once great, now it really is disappointing. Pre-soak either doesn't work at all or…read moreit burns half your time before anything comes out. The tire/engine function is the same half the time. My last trip when rinsing the timer ran out added more quarters and when it restarted it shot out a bunch of soap causing me to restart all the rinsing. I prefer manual car washing to automatic locations but this one is so frustrating I prefer to drive to the north side of Roger's to use a car wash that actually works. They worry about bbq and propane sales versus their core business.
