Yet there is no problem for the owner to call screaming to get paid for a half-assed job that isn't completed.....and the price was crazy, $1000 to install a new vanity and sink/tap. Was here for 3hours max and went home without finishing cause he was 'tired'. Very unprofessional of the plumber. Reception tried to smooth thing over with a discount but that is not as important as finishing a job right. After 7 year, i think it's time to find someone that is more reliable. they were my trusted professionals, but that is no longer the case.

A junior arrived. There was the deposit of $80-85 -- then he quoted $650! I had the young man call "the boss" to advise it was only a 30-minute job. They "reduced it" to $550. That is exorbitant. I called 3 other master plumbers and 2 large plumbing supplies stores, and Home Depot To ask their "approximate pricing" given the circumstance. Every single one said even with the deposit and travel within region it should not have been more than $300-$400. Never again. I understand plumbing services are always on the costly end, but gouging is not okay. Everyone got on the gouging bandwagon when Covid arrived and haven't stabilizd. It's unacceptable. Things like plumbing supplies did NOT inflate that much.
