Yumaira has taken my family's pictures for the past 5 years!! From my maternity shoot, to newborn photos, and now yearly family shoots- I can't say enough about her. Taking pictures for some of us may not be the most comfortable but she sure knows how to make you feel at ease every single time. She is such a kind, humble person who will make every minute of your photo shoot count. She is great with kids and has lots of patience with them which is essential for her field. Her set ups never fail to disappoint- she's very creative and always asks for her customers feedback on the type of set up they would like to see. I recommend her to any of my friends & family who are seeking a good photographer to document their memories. She also offers canvas prints for anyone who is interested, regardless if it's a picture she's taken or not- that's an added bonus!

She is heartless. I put down my deposit to do a photo shoot and then Covid happened and we were on lockdown she would not refund my deposit even though clearly we weren't holding up business because everybody was on lockdown and then when I told her that we were on hard times financially she said "OK sorry it didn't work out". read more

I searched high and low for someone who could take heirloom portraits for my little one. I…read morecontacted 3 photographers and Cristal was the only one that contacted me immediately through text. Heirloom portraits are more of a southern thing so I sent her inspiration pictures for reference. She said she could do it so I ended up booking her for a session. She had tons of props and outfits to choose from. We decided to go the simpler route and opted for no props with a simple white background. The session ended up being 15 minutes (she said she got THE shot). After about a week, Cristal sent me a soft proof gallery with about 75 photos to choose from. I picked my 12 and texted her feedback on the ones I wanted more/less cropped. She also nailed the vignette on the heirloom portraits; it was exactly what I was looking for! She sent me a second gallery with my 12 picks, also including them in B&W and different editing styles (34 total). Cristal had great communication, and will go above and beyond to make sure you love your pictures! I would highly recommend her if you live in the IE area. One tiny note, 4 photos have a faint line at the top. It looks like the editing filter wasn't taken all the way up. With that being said, not the end of the world and would gladly book her again.

Her personality is great and she has so much patience that it just makes everything even more perfect!! Her work is amazing and her prices are very reasonable. I have done my maternity pictures and my newborn session. She is so patient and wonderful. My daughter absolutely loved her! Her work is amazing just like her self. I just had my baby's photoshoot done for the second time, I love how professional Yumaira is, when I arrived her set up was ready, she is so good with kids, and so patient, she did everything I wanted! Iv bin shooting My daughters photos with her since she was One, now she's four. Iv done every birthday, valentines Day, Easter, Christmas, mommy and me and Fall Sessions, she is amazing, I will keep going back and capturing every moment of my daughters growth over the years!!
