It was really busy when I first walked in at 11am on Saturday so I had to wait a little bit but they were working quickly and efficiently so I was out of there after a little under 2 hours (I got a pedicure and shellac manicure). I loved my pedicure and manicure!! I felt like both the ladies I had were very attentive and great at their work! I paid $75 for this and thought it was very reasonable. This place ruined my nails. After getting my nails done here, I went to see a private, professional nail tech and it took us 2 hours to get my nails off. I ended up having to reschedule. Single handedly had to file the acrylic down to my nail bed because acetone soaks were not working. I called the store afterwards and the costumer service was poor, and fell short. read more

Was my first time there and my last. I asked for a pedicure with no nail polish. Rather than cutting my cuticles she was pulling at them as she was cutting. She didn't buff my toe nails so they look and feel rough and don't shine. All she did was use the machine filing thing which I had asked her not to. Then I go to pay and she tells me the tip isn't included... The pedicure was rushed, painful and awful. Also the lady was rude. I think she's the owner because she was also doing the cash. The other customers seemed happy, I assume their nail technicians were better. So I went today to get my pedicure and manicure done. I had the unfortunate luck to fall for the 2nd time on an AWFUL manicurist ( photo below in my post - she is the one always sitting next to Kha Ty). PLS dont ever take her if u go to this salon. She is very rude, always rolling her eyes ( made me wait 10 min before starting my pedicure - she was this time slurping in a cup and walking around the salon); she is like this with all customers. A few times I was there even her boyfriend was there and they were talking loud going out and in the salon ( very unprofessional for a business like this). On top of all this, she does an awful pedicure; the way she cut my nails, they grew in my skin and now they are hurting me; she was cleaning my toe nails as if she was scraping dirt off the floor. AWFUL to AVOID. If the management reads this comment something should be done and I would like to have a name of a nice and good manicurist for next time Ive been going to this place for many years now and always had an amazing service from Kha Ty, Gina, Anna. First off, this place is AMAZING! I'm from nyc and so doing my nails is extremely pricey and so I tend to avoid it but when I stumbled on this place while shopping and saw that gel nail extensions were only $45 CAD I just had to get my nails done. There are so many colors to choose from and they give you a nail book so it's super easy too. The lady that did my nails was so gentle and paid attention to detail. She made sure there were no flaws at all and she never hurt me. The wait was also very quick although I didn't book an appointment. The place was also fairly clean and odorless. I asked my nail tech a bunch of questions and she answered them all honestly. Love love love this place and wish I could teleport from nyc to Montreal every time I wanted to do my nails lol. I had no appointment but I was there very early in the morning, so I didn't have to wait at all. It soon started to get very busy, so I would suggest getting an appointment before going. Really cute place with a bilingual staff. I got a biogel set with extensions for 50$ (good price) and they were SO quick!!! Usually most places take about 2 hours for a new set with gel but I was out of there in less than 1h30. I was really impressed and happy with the result. I got a really good regular pedicure here. It was a super job! I also got nail extensions for my fingers. It was my first time doing extensions so I kept asking about things and my stylist kept telling me not to worry because she wasn't done. Then she had me check after the gel was set, but when she started putting the first layer of paint on I realized how crooked everything was. So I asked her to fix it and she told me I should have spoken up earlier if I noticed something was crooked. She filed them down for me anyway, but some of the extensions were put on at a slightly odd angle, and for these she told me they were crooked because my nails were crooked and too short. Even though I had called and asked and then asked again when we started if my nails were cut too short for extensions. I went back after a couple of days because it was bothering me so much and all they did again, was file the edges. Finally, I went to a different spa and had them remove the whole thing. Maybe it's not for me, and I'm sure everyone who works here is different, maybe she was having an off day, she did say she was feeling sick, but I was very disappointed in the work they did on my extensions. Even as a first timer I could tell it wasn't quite right. Anyway. I do recommend the place if you're doing regular mani-pedis. read more

I always get compliments for my nails all thanks to this place! The only salon I ever got fake nails put on that didn't have my real nails weakened afterwards, even after having them on for months. In fact, as crazy as it sounds, my real nails feel even stronger after. They do such a great job here, fast but consistently perfect. I have ocd when it comes to my nails and at other places, I always have to ask them to refile but never here!! The shape is always on point. Walked in on a Sunday because it was the only place open. The woman doing my nails burnt me while taking off my gel. She was very nice, however the woman working on my sister was very unfriendly. My younger sister was getting a kids pedicure was completely neglected and only had her nails clipped and then polished. No scrub, lotion, towel, etc. she was done in about 5 mins! Wasn't too happy with how my nails turned out. The lady painted over the cuticle on some of my nails and didnt clean it out. Also there were tiny bubbles left on some of my nails, there was even a tiny hair on one, and I asked the lady if she could do something about it and she dismissed it. I was also surprised I didn't get my nail folds and cuticles cut and cleaned prior to the manicure but, according to the lady, "Nobody does that" at nail salons here. I was very confused because my sister got a gel mani and she got hers cleaned? She was arguing that because I got extensions that "I didn't need that". She did offer to clean my nails afterwards, but did it quickly and cut the skin on my thumb too much which hurts now. Overall, I felt rushed. Clearly the lady didn't care to do my nails properly. My sister's nails looked great though; left me wishing I had gotten my nails done with the lady that took care of hers. read more

This was a disappointing place to get what was supposed to be a pedicure and manicure with shellac. They seem to have a real problem removing the shellac other than using a Dremel to take it off. The standard way to remove shellac is by using an acetone soaked cotton ball and wrapping it in tinfoil and letting it sit for 10 minutes and then the shellac will really come off easily. I suspect because this is time consuming, although not labour consuming they told me they would not do this (I had an injured toenail, but I generally don't like the Dremel in any event.) I was then told the management does not allow use of acetone to remove shellac. We managed through it, I decided to skip the manicure get it somewhere else, and ended up paying over $30 for a change of color. Whatever, also bring cash because they really really don't like to take credit cards but don't tell you that. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star rating, I would. My shellac was not only taken off by extreme buffing it off ( not the normal foil etc you get at other salons) but also the new shellac nails I got are bubbly, uneven, thick and just plain ugly. The regular nail polish I got on my toes was bubbly. I didn't get the extra care I get at other salons and now it's been a week and my nails look like they have to get done again. It's the worst mani pedi I have had my nails are probably unhealthy now that they buffed them down too much. Their customer service is poor and they don't know how to deal with customers. Notice also how the manager always comments on the negative comments made online defending herself and .Your salon has a huge problem and I won't ever recommend it ever. Get proper technicians with proper technique. You can't pay this much for nails for such a shitty job. read more
