I used to be a milspouse and while we lived in CO l had a horrific experience with a jewelry repair. All I needed was a watch battery replaced but two jewelry stores stripped the screws on the back of the watch! The one jewelry store kept telling me week after week that the screws needed this lubricant to help them unscrew. After 4+ weeks of this nonsense l finally told them to give me the watch back, we were done. I found that they were unable to get any screws out because all 4 were still in when l received it back (a lie from them saying they were waiting on the last 1-2 to unlock). I ended up visiting my family in CA and Brian and his wonderful jewelers not only had it fixed in less than a week, they also gave it a thorough look over and put in new screws that work better than the originals that came with it. I also had an antique platinum setting that l bought to use as my wedding ring except the middle diamond in the original setting was really small. I had a larger one to have set into it and there is NO ONE else l would trust with that! They did a beautiful job and you'd never know it wasn't original to the ring. It looks like it was meant to be that way. A secretary at my kiddos' school was telling me about her ring that so many jewelers couldn't fix. I recommended her to this shop. Although she went to their Mission Viejo location instead, she said she was thrilled that they were finally able to fix her ring when so many others said it couldn't be done. Currently, my late dad's Rolex is being checked by their watch person. My mom and stepdad have both gone through their watch person as well and have had no complaints. I think the best thing is the relief l feel when dropping my jewelry off here. I know that it will be in the best care and get the fix it needs. Brian stands by his work and l can say that from an issue (that would have happened when repairing it anywhere) that happened and Brian has more than made it right in the very rare situation that has happened. Brian's expertise and integrity is unmatched. I trust him implicitly and only come here for any repairs l need done. They are kind, professional, and knowledgeable.

I also brought in a pair of beautiful diamond earrings that I was interested in perhaps trading in. The incredible woman who waited on me Jenous(Sp?) was incredible. She suggested that I might use the diamonds from the earrings to design a bracelet or ring. Fast forward...the few pieces I brought in for repair are now brilliantly restored to their original beauty. The diamond ring being designed for me is breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone in the store is knowledgeable, professional and want to be sure you are taken care of and pleased. The selection they have is stellar. I brought my watch in because there was condensation inside. The jeweler asked me why I wore it in the shower or a swimming pool. I told him I didn't do either. In fact, I've never worn it in the shower or in any wet situation. He looked at me and said, " You definitely did!" I didn't feel like arguing with him, but I thought at that point that he was very rude to argue with me when I had told him explicitly that the watch has never gone under water. When I came to pick up the watch, he warned me again about not getting it wet. Had he not heard me before!? I then took a look at my watch and saw that there was a chip on the crystal. That chip was not there when I brought this watch to him. It is not just a little chip, it is bold and extremely obvious, and I definitely would've noticed it prior to me bringing it in. In fact, if I had noticed something like that before I would think that it was possible that even handwashing could have gotten condensation into the bezel. He immediately argued with me and said, "Of course it was there!" That was absolutely not true and he continued to argue with me in front of a store full of customers and employees. This man is extremely extremely rude. He told me that he was too old to be arguing with a woman like me. To that, I agreed. He IS old and extremely crotchety. I will never step foot in this place nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. I'd be willing to go 10 more miles from home as to avoid this man again. He embarrassed me in the store, he did not listen to me, and then he wrecked my beautiful watch. Sooooo bad for business to have this man working at this establishment, and even worse that he is allowed to interface with customers.

I had to rush out to get parking, but ordered with Sarah once I got home. I highly recommend the store, the staff, and SARAH! I feel entirely confident with her assessments and follow up. Hours online and posted on the door say they open at 11:00. We showed up ~11:15, doors were locked and they told us to come back at 11:30 as they were doing inventory. No worries, went and grabbed a coffee to kill some time, came back at 11:37. This time a woman came up to the door and tried holding a conversation, while the door was closed and locked.
