I ended up ordering a solid maple, queen size bed, made to order. I brought in a shelf from an existing piece of furniture and Tony was able to supply a sample of an almost exact match color. Took 7 weeks from order to delivery. Delivery people were very professional and friendly. They put the bed together and placed my mattress on it in very short time. The bed is solid, sturdy and has a beautiful finish that matches my existing furniture. Their pricing is very competitive with the large furniture stores whose products are veneers, plastic and mass produced. No comparison in quality. This is an update to my previous review of this company. Today is December 17 and approximately 4…read moreweeks ago my large sliding glass door was installed. However, the day before it was to be installed I received a contract from Plumline construction to either sign the contract for installation or they would not arrive the next day to install the door and the next installation date available would be in January. Plumline is supposedly a Meeks and Anderson approved installer. Plumline price to install this door was $7,000. When I enquired on how long it would take to install the door they said 6 to 7 hours with three men. I said that price did not seem right for that many men or that many hours work. There response was take it or leave it. The next day they showed up with one older gentlemen and two kids to install the door. They completed the installation and prior to me paying for the installation I video taped the operation of the door and found that it did not open and close properly and that when the wind blew the door rattled and buffeted. I asked the installed if this was normal and he said it was not. I immediately sent the video of this to my builder and Meeks that evening and requested Meeks and Anderson representative come and examine the door and correct problem. A week later someone from Meeks and Anderson I am told showed up to look at the door. As of today, I have no information on what is wrong with the door from Meeks or Anderson other than what my builder Schaeffer Mitchell indicated that the top track was ordered incorrectly and will need to be reordered and the entire door will need to be taken out and the top track taken out and a new track installed. Along with this Meeks failed to order the sloped exterior track for the bottom sill when they reordered the bottom track previously. This whole episode is a nightmare that just keeps getting worse due to the incompetence of Meeks. In the meantime my house will have to get torn open after the finishes and furniture has been installed. If you have a home and are considering Meeks go elsewhere and save yourself much time and anguish.
