I have had back issues here and there for years. I got a Groupon just because I wanted the massage and two adjustments. They are so thorough. They take extras and give you a copy with an examination to take with you, showing where you are misaligned. Although I was only going to go for the adjustment and massage, I signed up for treatment. Anti-Maskers that put their own beliefs before the health of their patients and staff members. My husband and I had been patients of Maximized Health for many years and although there had been notable turnover with the practitioners and staff, we were generally pretty happy with our care. However, when businesses began to re-open after the initial COVID-19 quarantine and we returned to Maximized Health with the expectation that as a medical practice they would be going above and beyond to protect their patients, we quickly noticed that Dr. Burns and a number of patients were not adhering to the state mask mandate nor practicing social distancing throughout the practice. As a medical provider, a patients health and safety must come before personal beliefs. We do not all have the privilege of strong immune systems and it's not Dr. Burns place to force that decision and risk upon his patients. Not to mention, realizing that he was unwilling to create a safe environment for his patients and had put us in that vulnerable position was significantly more stressful than anything I've experienced during this pandemic to date. When we informed the office manager Tom (Dr. Burns brother) that I personally had an autoimmune condition and did not feel comfortable with their total disregard for the health of their patients and staff, they offered to accommodate us outside of business hours. So loyal clients of more than 4 years are made to go out of their way because you've chosen to disregard state mandates and the advise of infectious disease experts? After realizing that could we no longer trust Dr. Burns and that all credibility he previously had as a healthcare provider was completely gone, we were sadly left no choice but to end our relationship with Maximized Health. read more

Scheduling wasn't easy as twice they told me they didn't have me on their books after I made the appointments. The second time they denied having me on their books, I actually kept the text message confirmation and had to forward it to the young lady with the attitude at the front desk (I believe her name was Riley) as proof. She didn't bother to apologize and simply said "wires got crossed." They were also a bit sales pitchy as well and really pushed their long term treatment package. If you don't buy the package they seem to do the bare minimum on your chiropractic adjustments thus prolonging your treatment time and benefits. I now go to a Chiropractic office in Centennial that works on my body from head toe each time and provides more thorough adjustments. It was a Livingsocial deal that got me to make my first appointment, but the quality and care of the staff is what got me to return. I was skeptical of holistic medicine for awhile, but I've since learned just how wrong I was. The team at Maximized Health has been so thorough and detailed explaining things and answering all of my questions, that I really felt comfortable literally putting my health in their hands. There are two doctors, Dr Burns and Dr Hansen. I have been adjusted by both and felt comfortable with both, but you can really tell that the clinic is Dr Burns pride and joy. He's so passionate about health and wellness and that really shows in the attitude of the entire staff. They offer free seminars on nutrition and fitness, which are very informative and helpful, and don't feature items they are getting paid to promote. There are several steps you go through for each appointment, from stretching to muscle therapy, and at every step, the staff is all on the same page, thanks to a fully digitized health record system. It's clear that they compare notes for each patient. I was sent home with orders for self-guided physical therapy, and they really can tell, and will call you out on not doing your therapy. I was told that if I wasn't going to do my part, that they would stop adjusting me, as that would do more harm than good, and would not create lasting change. I really respected that they expect me to take control of my health. I feel like the entire goal of this place is to get you well, and out the door, rather than to keep you coming back for life. I've been seeing Dr. Craig and his staff for the past three months after an auto accident. The improvements that he has helped me make in range of motion, flexibility, and pain have been outstanding. I've never once left his office feeling like he did more harm than good, which is a lot more than what I can say about other chiropractors. Dr. Craig works on muscles, as well as the spine, which is why you'll find powerplate machines, gym balls, and a massage station in his practice. These definitely help you recover faster after you've been in an accident. I also highly recommend Maximized Health's massage therapists, Katrina and Jenny. They were both able to work out a lot of the tension in my muscles, and I always left feeling 10x better than when I came in. On top of that, his front office staff is as good as it gets. They're friendly, courteous, and are willing to work with you when you need a schedule change at the last minute. If you call outside of office hours, they always return your calls in a timely manner. They also greet you every time you arrive and leave - it feels like family. I tried them out twice. The adjustment was nice; however the side effects weren't so pleasant. I informed Dr. Riebling that I was feeling dizzy after the first adjustment. He did not confirm nor deny whether this was normal. After each adjustment so far, I experienced flu-like symptoms for a week. After a snowboarding accident, I have been in serious neck and shoulder pain for the past three years. I have been to multiple doctors, 2 other chiro, accupunture and massage. My final decision to entertain a chiropractic exam came when my neck pains became so severe, there were many nights each month I could not sleep for any amount of time. On the edge of losing my mind from lack of sleep, I discovered a team just a few minutes from my home that blew me away with results. Many years of sports injuries both organized and recreational lead me to the day where I needed additional help only to find out the problem was yes my neck but also branched all the way throughout my whole spine. Over/under curvature leads to pinched and underutilized points of interest, many of which being nerve endings and blood circulation.
