I was at the maxident dental clinic today the 17th of June 2025, for me and my daughter's appointment. The senior receptionist by name Shelly who booked me in at the reception was sociable and very professional. She logged into system and ensured my time slot was prompted to meet with the female hygienist by name Vacenathi, who was also an amazing hygienist. Vacenathi, while she was treating me kept on reassuring me and was very patient with my experience of sensitive teeth. She was amazing and l was pleased with my treatment. I will recommend Maxi Dental Clinic to other patients in future. Vaccinathi and Shelly deserve my 5 star ratings Thanks to Maxident Dental clinic. I will recommend this clinic to friends . Doris. Receptionist Rude.... Dentist said I should see hygienist as my breath smelt and to top that I got charged £35 Hygienist was watching the clock all the time she was cleaning my teeth?? The surgery rooms are very clean,but whats the point if the dentist is abrupt!!! Left their feeling distressed :(( read more

Have always been very pleased with the service and costs at this clinic. A previous reviewer's criticism was based partially on how young the dentist seemed; well many highly educated professionals know how to look after themselves and can appear 'young' and healthy and still be well qualified and competent, as are the staff at this clinic. read more

hi, the review up.. yep very accurate the guy who is the dentist, he isnt good, he doesnt check the teeth properly at all, i dont feel confident when i go there at all, i will write more about this place, im in hurry now.. but bae in mind - dont go there!!!! not recommended! read more

Hello, I would like to express unprofessional and rude behavior of receptionists and their manager in this clinic. I visited clinic a few months ago and spend over £100 as had a few different services. When I asked how much do I need to pay at reception she was confused and then said some random amount (when I calculated it seemed about right) -so I paid. Afterwards, they start chasing me for payment and my wife as well. When we asked what is outstanding payment for - receptionist could not help and explain. She started guessing what treatments I had. She said: it's for the filling - I said I have paid for it; Then she said - for hygienist - which was paid for as well. Then she said: Extraction - which was NEVER done for me. Basically, she just started guessing all she could to demand payment without explanations. I did not pay their demand. After a few months - I needed to see doctor as well and when I called receptionist (manager) she told me I have outstanding balance to pay and said: NO money - no service". I asked for emergency appointment and said we'll sort it out when I come - but she said give me your card details now so I could process it. If you do not pay we do not cure people. This is DENTAL clinic! They supposed to see people in pain. This is really unprofessional. I have heard a lot of complaints about staff especially receptionists, manager - front line staff. Also, when I asked director's direct email address to make complaint on them - they refused to provide and said this is not available - write to us and we'll pass this message on "Maybe". Felt a bit violated by this clinic. All seemed good, modern and clean but signs plastered all over the wall about "ensuring you get an estimate first" made me a little suspicious. A dentist who looked like he could be my child (I'm 26) had my mouth open for about 1 minute, told me I needed to buy some special mouthwash, did give me two x-rays that you could see my wisdom tooth on and the tooth each side, then insisted I need a very small filling that "would only take 2 minutes." As he was moving towards me with an injection I managed to quickly ask if he was doing it right there and then and how much would it be, still proceeding he quickly said "only £46.50". I told him I would like it done a different time and he told me in that case in was finished for today and it would only be £16.50 and asked me quite agitatedly when I would be booking in for the filling. As I went down to the reception I was feeling quite confused that it was unlike any other dental appointment I'd had before where they normally have you in there for more than two minutes, check all your teeth, maybe have a little scrape and usually polish my teeth too. I apologised to the receptionist that I it wasn't her fault but I was dissatisfied with the treatment and didn't want to pay and wouldn't be returning. She didn't seem surprised by this and said "ok, there will be no charge." Whether I need a filling or not is still to be seen but I did not like this dentist. Maybe he was rushing as it was a 7pm appointment but he is meant to be a medical professional but felt like a money grabbing con artist. It's a shame he has ruined my trust in dentists. read more
