Paid for a $100 service for a SUV, however it came back with streaks and spot marks through out the car. Had to ask one of the service staff members to come wipe it off. They use the same cloth they use to wipe your mags with, is also being used to wipe your interior. Lack of attention to detail with Car-fe. You could probably pay for a lesser service and still get the same work done on your car.

But when you delve a little further into the store you'll notice that there's actually a lot of good stuff going on in there too. They have loads of awesome boots and this store would be great to hit before winter starts so you have your boots already for the colder months. They also tend to have a lot of good sales. Maybe because their image isn't so great. But this means it's great for me. I can't go past a good bargain and at Mink if you dig far enough you'll probably find something awesome that no one else has. You should go check it out today, but go with the mind frame of 'don't judge a store by its cover'.

It was a bit much to take in at first but after I adjusted my eyes and started looking at individual items of clothes rather than the big array of patterns together, I saw it really wasn't so bad. Now I don't think I would find anything for myself in here but for my mom there were quite a few options. She tried on a gorgeous full-length dress and when we saw how good it looked the shop assistant rushed around to find similar ones to try on too. So after all that I decided I really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover because my mom looked banging in some of those dresses.

Mention must also be made of the fantastic people who work at Claire. Whilst in some high-end shops you are lucky to even be acknowledged, at Claire you are always greeted with a smile. Furthermore, the staff are fantastic at recommending clothes that fit your shape and style and aren't afraid to tell you when something doesn't suit.

If am being honest, this particular pair of shoes should have been retired years ago but I'm just not quite ready to give them up so off to the shoe repair man I went. The young man serving me was lovely and said it wouldn't be a problem (Thank Goodness!!) - they would be back in my possession by Friday (it was Wednesday at the time!) and it would set me back $40 big ones. Not only did I think this a was good deal but I was stoked that I would have them back in time the weekend. When I did pick up the shoes they looked great - as close to brand new as they are ever going to get! Not to mention they had given them a really good polish as well.

Still, for the odd thing, it doesn't help to look. I really like Amazon Takapuna because it's on the road, meaning not in a mall, meaning 100x better. I often waltz into here when i'm walking down this street, just to have a wee lookie. The staff are super friendly and chilled in the way you'd expect from a surf shop and leave you alone until you start to look like you might need some assistance, which i really like. There is a good range of boys and girls surf stuff in the fron and a pretty massive surfboard selection out the back. Theer are also wetsuits, shoes, sunnies, beanies and other surf and skate stuff. plus a few gears for the snow. The store is fun and vibrant and is perfect for the products. Being just up the road from Takapuna beach, it always feels pretty summery and relaxed in here which sets the scene nicely for the place.
