Now, I'm ready to figure out those numbers - like aperture and shutter speed and ISO - and get to clickin'! The Photo Express 1 class was a great foundation for building my knowledge and experience. The instructor (Allison!) did a great job of explaining, making sure we understood, and allowing us to - sometimes - ask the same question repeatedly. She was patient, professional, and passionate. Periodically through the class workshop, we were given the opportunity to practice what we were learning. Allison often took time to speak one-on-one with each student insuring we all stayed together and fully grasped the concepts. I'm happy to say, I'm well off of the point-and-shoot mediocrity and have now ventured well off the "automated" controls of my new DSLR. Thanks, Atlanta School of Photography!

The Photo 101 class at ASOP was perfect. Good foundational information plus an instructor with enthusiasm and (most importantly) patience. The class size was small which was helpful. At the end there was a field trip to Oakland Cemetery, where I took my first really nice photos (to my eye, anyway). I can do it! Thank you to Instructor Jay and Team ASOP.

He's very patient and doesn't have any issues with explaining something over and over. That is for knuckle heads like me. I consider myself an intermediate creative, but there is always something to learn. I don't think I'll ever finish learning about photography . Mike will open your eyes to some of the techniques that are deemed difficult. He teaches how to use gels, integrate lighting into the image, how to set your camera and why. He has over 30 years in the business. He has the beautiful albums and websites to prove it. If you are serious about getting into the business of wedding photography . Mike is your man. If you are a bride looking for one of the best. Give Mike a call.

The experience was exceptionally educational. We spent three hours at Barrington Hall in Roswell. The first hour was a powerpoint preso explaining various camera settings all about getting the right light and metering the a shot. The next two hours were spent with models in various poses in settings on property. With explanation and hands on assistance throughout the shoot. I have to experiment with the my take-aways from this workshop before I sign up for the next one, but feel confident that I would want to work with Mike and his team again.

Awesome AFFORDABLE Photographer!!!…read more I was recently laid off from my position in sales and went to Yelp! to find a photographer to get head shots done for my LinkedIn profile and personal business cards. I found Bonnie's review, and decided to check out her page, based upon the stellar reviews. Wow! When I checked out her portfolio, I quickly became worried that she was going to be way out of my price range. Imagine my surprise when I went to her site, and saw her pricing. I thought it was surely too good to be true. I emailed Bonnie for an appointment, and she was very accommodating and able to get me in quickly. Within just a few hours, she sent me a link to my photos with the initial edits, and immediately gave me rights/permission to use the pics. I was able to get one uploaded to LinkedIn immediately. She also offers additional editing (your choice) on 2 additional, final photos. She said she could have those to me no later than the next day. Bonnie is overly qualified, very accommodating, and extremely comfortable to work with. Might I also add: TALENTED!!! My only suggestion would be for her to RAISE PRICES! If you are looking for the PERFECT photographer, let me save you the time and suggest you end your search here. You will be glad you did. Thanks Bonnie!!!

Maybe not 19 more times for you, but a lot. I can't even say this, but [whispers] you'll probably die before us. But she might take pictures of Nora and me and our kids even. Wait, how old is she? She'll probably be a grandma when a six-year-old has kids. But she can still do that when she's a grandma, right? Take pictures. Yeah, she can...

We are trying to adopt and needed a variety of shots for our adoption profile, so these photos were super important to us and we had some pretty high expectations. Chanda truly wanted to get to know us and understand our specific needs to make sure we got everything we hoped for from the session. She made recommendations based on what she learned that we liked, she captured some unique settings we wanted to get, and she was creative in understanding what we needed and coming up with ideas for fun and unique poses/photos. We also received all of our proofs way earlier than expected. Chanda was professional, easy to work with, committed to helping us get what we wanted from our session, and a fantastic photographer. We highly recommend her for any type of session! We'll definitely reach out to her for photos when we grow our family!
