Fantastic haircut and shave from Max. Antonio took great care of our four-year-old. Extremely nice and exceedingly professional. We don't speak Italian, yet felt very comfortable in their shop. I definitely recommend stopping by if in Roma and in need of a shave or haircut. €25 for a shampoo and great cut. €15 for the bambino. Well worth it. Molte grazie!

These guys are A+ -- I was in Rome for 2 months and got 2 haircuts and a shave from them. Superb. Friendly, sing/whistle while they work, tingly tonics, straight razors, and just a great experience--and the haircut is second to none. I can't find haircuts like this in the US anymore. They can be busy, so I recommend getting a reservation...that said, they accommodated my first "walk-in" with a cheerful smile. Tip well--they deserve it! I'll be back. read more

I walked in with my son, who had very long hair and needed a hair cut. He sat with Jo for the hair cut. Jo is very detail oriented. He took his time during the cut and also asked my son to stand up, to check the actual length, and kept him that way to make sure the hair cut was right. It was so good that my wife sent me back that same day with my daughter. Jo is like a hair artist, and you can tell he enjoys it. I highly recommend this place. read more

I'm an American traveling in Italy and I had very long hair prior to coming here and during my travels I couldn't keep up with having such long hair. So I decided to find a barber. I came here because some locals pointed me to this place. WORLD CLASS SERVICE! These guys know what they're doing and they did an amazing job. When I'm back in Italy I will definitely get another haircut from them. Beats any pricey barber in the United States and I paid very little for the amazing haircut I received. Great haircut but it is a bit expensive. But as their sign says "good haircuts aren't cheap and cheap haircuts aren't good". I was able to walk in and be seen without too long of a wait. Their English was good but I did bring a picture if the cut I wanted on my phone. read more

Went in for a quick hair cut and shave. Both gentlemen there were awesome and very friendly. Gave me one of the best cuts I've had and even bought me a cup of coffee!! Highly recommend if you're ever in Rome. read more

Posting from my wife's account. I stopped by because his shop is beautiful. It also features a really cool barbershop museum upstairs. They just don't make them like this in the states. I let Max cut my hair and trim my beard his way, and I'm glad I did. He is amazing! I recommend this place to any guy who wants an amazing haircut and experience. Great end to my italy vacation. read more

Established in 1990.

È il lontano 8 Aprile 1990, il sole splende alto nel cielo ed i Mondiali di Italia '90 sono ormai prossimi.è in quel giorno di Primavera che ha inizio la storia di Max&Jò, quando Max, giovane barber non ancora ventenne con la voglia di lasciare il segno, decide di fare il grande passo: aprire un'attività. Da quel giorno ad oggi migliaia di tagli, pieghe, acconciature, disegni, rasature, modellature e molto di più... Da quel giorno ad oggi Max ha dettato gli stili dei ragazzi prenestini e non solo. Il tutto grazie anche all'indispensabile contributo di Jò, nipote d'arte e talento indiscusso, cresciuto fin da bambino con le forbici in mano e la cultura del vero barber. Nel 2014 il salto di qualità: Max&Jò diventa Barber Shop ed apre anche nella Capitale, a Campo de' Fiori. In poco tempo i due Barber prenestini divengono il punto di riferimento per moltissimi ragazzi dei Castelli Romani e di Roma che amano curare il proprio look ed il proprio stile nei minimi dettagli.
