I own a rental property in North Hampton, and I live in Los Angeles. On Friday morning my realtor informed me the current tenant hadn't cleaned the apartment during their move out inspection, claiming they didn't know. I had new tenants moving in on Monday. Oh shit! Frantic and in desperation, I did a quick Google search for a cleaner, and by the grace of God found Max and Max Cleaners. I rang him up. He answered immediately and agreed to clean the house the very next day on a Saturday. Not knowing the house he ran over that day, Friday afternoon, to inspect the property, recommend cleaning, and provide a quote. I gave him my credit card number in a heartbeat. His team cleaned the house on Saturday as agreed. Sunday, my realtor did the move inspection with the new tenants. He said the house was unbelievable and beyond immaculate. The new tenants who knew the situation were beyond pleased. In short, to say Max and his team was my savior is a gross understatement. We used Max Cleaning for a move out clean in December. Max was very friendly and flexible but the team was not as thorough as I had hoped. I'm giving 4 stars because the cleaning that was done was very good, and Max was very good with scheduling, but I don't think it should have been advertised as a "move out clean". Max came highly recommended by my building manager so I didn't really ask many questions or follow up on the clean as I should have. I had to leave mid-clean. When we went back a few days later the kitchen and bathrooms looked great, and I paid extra for fridge and oven cleaning which was good, but windows were not done and the floors and walls appeared untouched, along with dusty areas such as on top of the fridge. The carpeting was literally untouched, even though I said the carpet cleaners requested an initial vacuum. It turns out windows are not included in the quote but I hadn't noticed that until I went back to the website to read more thoroughly. I understand the negative part of our experience was largely due to miscommunication, and I did not ask for them to return (it was good enough to not look dirty and we were under time pressure), but I feel that a move-out clean should be complete, without exclusions. I was surprised because my previous move out clean at a similar property with a different crew was just that - oven, windows, bath, carpets, walls - absolutely complete without me having to specify anything, and it was about the same price. I think Max and his team are good at what they do, and are lovely people, but I recommend spending time to clarify your expectations in advance. read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE! This is as good as it gets. I am super impressed with Max and his cleaning service. I use him for my Airbnb unit and for my personal house cleaning. It is difficult to find a cleaner who can schedule around Airbnb appointments, but Max took it on like a champ. He's punctual and thorough.
