It was so delicious and lasted us several days as it was just us two eating it. I love the variety of options they have here and no dessert has disappointed us yet. But, apparently it does get quite busy on certain days of the week. When you walk into the patisserie you will see two framed awards for Excellence Winner in "SA Restaurant and Catering". Well, that is impressive! Then you are greeted with a smile and a mighty fine selection of very high quality pastries and cakes. They also have a number of large cakes available for purchase. Oh, and the croissants looked so amazing I have to return to give those a go! Each cake and pastry is made with precision and expertise. This is not your general bakery around the corner Yelpers. So, I thought this was a great choice to test their expertise. And it definitely delivered. What I love about the cake is that it is not too sweet. Sometimes orange cakes can be overdone with sugar and a little dense. This one was neither. It was fluffy, moist and comfortably orange in flavour. In fact, I just didn't feel naughty eating it. Zanette's is famous for its beer gelato. We tried it (it's non-dairy) and omg, it tasted exactly like beer! But in a sweet, nice way. They have a VB flavour and a Corona flavour and both flavours are spot on. But mango gelato holds the key to my heart, so I ended up ordering that along with a scoop of the lychee. They were both really great. Also sampled the passionfruit and watermelon -- both yum although I preferred the watermelon. I believe they also had a non-dairy strawberry and lemon as well, so plenty of choices if you're vegan or lactose-intolerant. I think probably the lychee was the best. Service was SUPER friendly -- I think these guys really enjoy their jobs, and it seems like a family-run affair. Definitely seek this place out if you're in Surfers!

I love the marinated beef bulgolgi but they also sell a spicy chicken one too as well as sliced brisket and short ribs and more! They have one whole freezer for meats and another freezer filled with lots of dumplings, pancakes, roti, ice creams and savoury and sweet buns. They have a fridge which stocks asian vegetables, flavoured rice milks, Kim chi and cakes. They have a great range sauces and marinades, chips and lollies, noodles, packet curries and lots more! The service has been good although I've never asked them questions before. I'm so happy I finally have an Asian supermarket close to me with such great variety!
