You guys captured the greatest moments of our wedding, and pieced it all together in a video that made me feel like I was reliving the day all over again. The editing, the transitions, the fading in/out of music, the arrangement of speeches juxtaposed with shots of us, our family, and our friends...you guys are truly masters at what you do. I wrote and re-wrote this review a dozen times, and I just can't seem to find the right words to express how thankful my wife and I are that you guys were the ones we hired for our special day. All of our wedding vendors were outstanding but Myron went above and beyond the call of duty and far exceeded expectations. He was always professional and responsive during the planning process. He was a calming influence during the chaos that is wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, Myron worked with the photographer to ensure maximum efficiency (aka saved us all time). He stayed for the duration of the wedding which was good because his team got some awesome footage at the end. The final product was great! Everyone gave us compliments and props for the wedding video. Overall, Myron was one of the best vendors we worked with! If you're thinking about hiring Jove and Annie to shoot your wedding or any event, then stop thinking about it and start booking them! A+! Would hire again The longer and more detailed review: Let me tell you, they must be Buzz Light year fans because they went to infinity and beyond for my wife Katie and I for our wedding! To Kick things off, they organized two Skype meetings with us so that we could meet and put faces to names. They went out of their way to learn about us, our story, and our big day. We also discussed what we wanted captured, how we wanted it captured, what was important and what wasn't. They were very flexible with our busy schedules and made it a priority to chat face to face. They also helped cater their preexisting packages to meet our budget and get us the types of shots we wanted. After that they reviewed our wedding time line and made suggestions of how, when and where to capture different types of photos. Everything from the father daughter first look, to bridal party shots, and extra post-ceremony shots. On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and with huge smiles. Being a husband a wife team, they were able to split up with Jove hanging out with the guys as we got ready and Annie with the girls. They had great ideas of unique photos to capture with bridesmaids and groomsmen and they didn't miss a single moment or article of clothing or jewelry. They also beautifully organized and captured our first look. Jove coached me on where to stand and Annie took the time to make sure Katie's dress looked perfect right up to the moment before Katie tapped me on the shoulder. During the ceremony, they both went from photographers to ninjas because they vanished into the shadows as they captured every single moment perfectly and unobtrusively! They got smiles and tears and laughter and all kinds of candid moments. They worked in a way to make themselves completely unknown to me or any of the guests. This was really important to me because I didn't want to be distracted by a couple of cameras buzzing around. Seriously, if they ever decide to stop taking photos they should definitely move to Japan and become full time ninjas, they are THAT GOOD! After sunset, the amazing photos kept on coming! They strategically placed small flash units around the venue to insure that every photo was beautifully lit. Seriously, it looks like a team of hardcore union electricians lit every one of our photos. They were perfect! Nothing blurry, nothing dark, only spectacular photos across the board. The last special moment was when they approached us towards the end of the evening and asked us if we wanted to sneak away for 10 minutes for a few night portraits. Me, being the photo nerd that I am, looked at Katie and nodded my head and we snuck off. They then surprised us with a great location, a camera already set up for a long exposure and an 8 foot LED bar where they painted light around us. It was totally unexpected, unplanned and completely above and beyond for them to bring out extra toys! If you're still reading then kudos to you! They were amazing and went far beyond what I expected from my wedding photographers. I wanted the best and I got better!!

Husband and wife photography team that we used for our engagement and wedding photos. They are…read moreextremely responsive, take pride in their work, flexible, and on top of all that, affordable! Our wedding was in Maui, so since it was a destination wedding (they're based in Southern California), they gave us a free additional photo session in Maui (our pre-wedding session). We shopped around for a good photography team, since that's really all you have left after the wedding. Some things that we saw that differentiated this photography team from others, is that they didn't cap the # of hours that they spent with you--they just cared that they got good shots and ultimately that we got what we wanted. Our engagement session definitely ran long, as we were high maintenance and wanted photos in a lot of spots, but they were super patient and happy to take whatever photos we wanted. They are also very personable, and made us feel comfortable while they were taking photos of us (my husband and I aren't big on pictures, so that's saying a lot!). Their pricing is also extremely reasonable--you'll find that with other photographers, flash drives of your photos (some photographers even charge you $ for each photo), photo albums, and all the "extra" stuff will cost you a ton on top of the package fee, but this isn't the case for Jovanni. The photo albums are of amazingly fancy quality, with lay flat binding, and the flash drive that they gave of all (not select, but ALL) our photos was in this fancy case with fabric and made of some kind of clear engraved glass--fancy! Jovanni's package (at least the package we got, which wasn't even the most expensive package) included: engagement session, engagement photo album (many use as the guest book), pre-wedding session, rehearsal luncheon session. wedding session (full day--unlike many others who only give you ~5 hours and charge you extra for any additional time), wedding photo album, huge photo canvas of a photo of our choice, all pictures on both a flash drive and a DVD (1 DVD for each session). She def. put her heart into her work. After the questionnaires and chatting on the phone with Georgia, Team Alumiq was able to reflect our personalities through the video. I didn't ask for the same day edit- but the highlight video is to die for! I also got the raw footage. IT IS THE BEST! The hard dive comes with a personal written note from them, and has a lot of mini clips and they are such a joy to watch. Their quote is clear, no surprise on any extra charges. And their quote is beyond reasonable. I would be more than happy to pay more for their quality and service!

Their work looks great but after meeting and discussing the contract, I do not wish to have any affiliation with this company. With tons of emails back and forth, my fiancé and I were quoted $4,100 which we thought was fine. We came to the Alumiq office thinking that we were going to sign a contract and leave a deposit. Instead of leaving contently, we left quite frustrated. This company has no clause stating that they will be charging additional fees but once we started discussing the contract, they started to nickel and dime everything. When I got the proposal, they even tried to tax us on mileage which is not even supposed to be taxed. Had I been some other person that was unfamiliar with tax laws, we would have been ripped off if we decided to go with them. We were going to go with this company because one of my good friends used them for their wedding and I felt like they did a great job and were very personable. I guess things have changed after several years in the business. We heard from our friends that used them that they did not get their video until one year after their wedding. That is quite ridiculous! Their excuse was that they only had one editor at a time. When my fiance asked them how long it would take, they said around 6 months but it's really based on what is in queue. If you book them and your wedding happens to fall in the busiest time for weddings, it sounds like you won't get your video until probably a year later. A little advice to this company, if you are going to nickel and dime everything, you should at least state in the clause that there may be additional costs. It was such a waste of time to meet for a consultation. I'm more than glad to take my business elsewhere!

My wife and I started searching for photographers back in late 2016 after we got engaged. Our venue was set in Orange County, and despite living 4 hrs away from our venue, we wanted photographers from that local area. Photography was extremely important to us, but we were on a tight budget so we decided to browse Craigslist in Orange County. As we soon discovered, many of the photographers were reasonably priced, but their style did not match what we desired. Soonafter, we discovered the Martin Fisher Photography ad. At the time, they had only a few weddings and engagement photos posted on their website. However, their artistic style was exactly what we were looking for (candid, emotional, wide shots, close-ups, attention to detail). We first met the photographers in January 2017, we almost could have missed these two. They looked like they were still in highschool yet their level of professionalism felt like they've done this for years. They clearly explained their pricing and photography process to us. They showed us samples of their work that was not posted on the website. After that meeting, we knew they were the right photographers for us. All the photos that they took for us came out beautiful, and they were exactly as we wanted. They shot our engagement in Los Angeles (East LA and DTLA), our wedding in The Hacienda, Santa Ana, and our day after shoot in Joshua Tree. We loved all our photos. They were always up for shooting no matter what location we chose. They helped us pose in order to capture great moments. They got beautiful and emotional shots during the all our shoots.
