Pulled up at 11:15 for a oil change. Only one car in the 6 bays and one person waiting. However Bobby working the front desk has some anger issues. He keeps banging on the keys and raising his voice out of frustration. I don't know what is going on in his life and what makes him act this way. He left the counter to walk around my car twice. By that time another customer was behind me and said he's like that every time he comes in. Car went back at 11:45 and dropped it at 12:05 and for some reason put it back up in the air again at 12:19??? I came for an oil change on the evening of September 14th. Half an hour after leaving here, I received the low oil warning and stopped to check, all the oil had completely flowed from under the car and was emptied. I had to stay hotel in Philly overnight and called him in the morning to report his situation. They came to for add oil and they say we couldn't fix, and you need to come store. I said okay. The drive was about 25 miles. After 15 miles, all the oil drained again. Having to stop, I saw many warnings and the engine malfunction light came on. They added it after the replay. Meanwhile, they didn't cover the protector under the car, so I came crashing to the ground for 25 miles. I came to the store under very difficult conditions and I've been waiting for about two hours and they still haven't checked the car. They dont care anything. Maybe the car won't start again and while I'm still waiting for them to check it, I decided to share this article. They did not apologize even once and I have been trying to fix this situation for 6-7 hours. They don't care about my car I want the problem to be solved once, otherwise I will not hesitate to use my legal rights. read more

I needed a new tire so I got two because that's what they recommended. I was scheduled for 4 but they didn't start working until 5. There's only 2 ppl here my car is hoisted but still hasn't been worked on and it's going on 6. They stopped to work on another car. It's ridiculous. We took our car to another mechanic for an oil change. He recommended new rear brakes and a new battery. I was not experiencing problems with either. I called Mavis and they gave me a better price and replaced the brakes. They also tested my battery and it was fine. I walked out satisfied and happy with the price. Emily and Erica were friendly, helpful and went out of the way to make my experience a good one. My bank account is happier and so am I. I highly recommend. First, I need to say that I've been coming here for general car maintenance since before Mavis bought the location. (about 6 years) The prior crew would've gotten 5 stars. Currently I would give -5 stars if I could. The mechanics on staff currently are very good (Definitely 4-5 stars). The counter-kid is new and tries hard (3-4 stars). The manager needs to be fired. I had made arrangements to have work done on my car on Sunday - to bring it in the following Saturday. "We'll order the parts and be ready, don't worry" I brought it in on Thursday instead "The Manager will order the parts and call you". Call Friday afternoon "The parts aren't here, I'll have the Manager call you" No Call. Call Saturday afternoon "The parts aren't here, they're on order. I don't know when they'll get here, I'll have the Manager call you." No Call. Sunday I show up to pick up my car at the time we had arranged THE WEEK BEFORE to pick up my car. My car is sitting in a bay with the hood up. "The parts never arrived, we'll get you a rental, don't worry." I spend the next 90 minutes there while the poor counter kid keeps trying to get hold of the Mysterious Manager Who Is Never There. I got my own rental. I was late for work Monday morning. (Thank God I have an understanding boss) I show up Monday Evening "The parts aren't here yet." Now I call the District Manager who has very little useful to say other than the usual salesman platitudes I have no interest in hearing. Worthless. Utterly worthless. Tuesday the parts finally arrive. I show up after work and the mechanic is scrambling to put my car back together. The Mysterious Manager is actually there and charges me FULL PRICE!! I was late to work twice. I didn't have my car for 5 days and he charged me full price. I squawk and he takes off $100 like I should be grateful. They're probably still OK if you need basic maintenance work done - tires, brakes, etc. But if you need ANYTHING ELSE - go elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble I went through. I decided to have my oil changed here because it was a Friday after work and they were close. I sit down and notice the kid doing my oil change is young. I mean REALLY young. And the guy behind the counter seems to be coaching him through the process So I begin reading the Yelp reviews. I read the one from 2013 about the blown head gasket and really start to worry. I ask the guy that's working the counter about the review. He says, "oh the Toyota in the back. Yeah, we put the wrong filter on it and we ended up having to pay the guy $800 bucks." So apparently this has happened on more than one occasion. I ask if the kid doing my oil change knows what he's doing and he says yeah. I said, "he looks a little young, no?" He said, "Yeah, he's a student." Nothing negative has happened to my car thus far. But just on comfort factor alone, I will not be returning here. read more

My brother brought his SUV of this location to have them check misfired and check engine lights...mechanic he recommended to tune up his SUV, great!!! The next day he had same problem after he paid them $800 later. Little he knows they only replaced one spark plug and one coil the worst thing is, not even original parts is aftermarket, lol so he went to Blare the other auto shop to check if they did the whole job, nope! These guys are just so great. Super friendly, good, honest service. Answered all of my questions, even helped my find rims I originally wasn't ordering through there store! I ended up using them for the rim service because they were so great and I like to "keep it in the family" so to speak. A little after 3 years after putting their cheap chinese bo-bo, no name tires on & with under 15,000 miles on them they were done. Not uneven wear cause other shops checked the suspension. STAY AWAY FROM RUNWAY / ENDURO brand tires unless you are returning a lease car. In cold weather they harden up and are horrid in the snow. This place is great. The Service Advisor (wish I had gotten his name) was absolutely wonderful. Explained everything in detail, plus showed me what needed to be done on my car. I felt like my father was helping me :) He gave me their deals/coupons, without me asking. They were also able to get my brakes, brake line flush, 4 new tires put on/balanced and my alignment done in the time frame I needed. I love this shop. I bring all of my cars here. I needed a new head gasket in my car and they did it for $100s of dollars cheaper than other shops I called. They also had it done same day where the other shops said 2-3 days to get it done. They also have a nice oil change program where if you buy 6 the 7th is free. When you have 4 cars it really helps save on basic maintenance. I would and have recommended this shop to everyone. read more

Went in for tires. Figured i have them check the breaks. Got New front brakes. And adjustments on the back. Next day. I have no breaks and caused an accident.. They blamed my other shop. That put them breaks on over a year ago. Worked fine till they touched it. Than charged me to fix there mistake. Never go here. They cause accidents!!! read more

After researching the internet for tires I decide to start shopping. I had zero knowledge about buying new tires. I never cared until I got the car I have now. I went to a bunch of places to ask questions and explained what I wanted. My daily driver is a Hyundai Veloster Turbo-6 speed manual. Even though I had no tire knowledge I could tell the stock tires were junk... anyway several other shops didn't really seem intreasted in helping me. Most were ok but appeared bothered by someone gathering info. Then I met Bob the manager of this STS. I explained to Bob that I really enjoy my commute to work and that my car is quick and alot of fun to drive. After informing Bob ( who patiently lissten amd never tried to cut me off because he was too busy) that my car is never going on a track but I wanted more of a performance/ racing tire. Bob then took over the show asking me questions to make sure we were on the same page. Together we narrowrd down my choices. Im not posting brands because the emphasis of this review is more CUSTOMER SERVICE related. Bob continued to explain the benefits of both models. By this point I knew, this guy knows what he's talking about. I made my choice based on his imput. My choice was the less expensive of the two. Bob took the time to explain all warranties and services that came with the purchase. He did this even though I told him at the start. I WOULD NOT BE PURCHASING THEM TODAY. He said give him a call If and whe i decided and try to give him 24 hour notice as the tires I wanted weren't on site. Yesterday I decide, I wanted them. I called Bob (who remembered me) at about 10am. He said he would see what he could do. Bob ccalled back 5 minutes later to say he could get them that same day. I had a pretty open schedule and ask him to call if they got there in time to be put on ( I live 7 miles away). 2pm phone rings its Bob " Come on down" Thats what I did. Love my new tires Conclusion: While the waiting area in this shop is definitely in need of an upgrade I was only there about an hour. Bob being the customer centered manager he is ,made pleasent and non-intrusive small talk between performing his duties with myself and other ccustomers in the waiting area.. The installation was great. Since I got summer tires I wanted to keep my stocks to switch out in winter. His technicians not only loaded them they wrapped and sealed them in plastic. WOW! Just WOW! Bob gave me the individual service I needed. A pleasure to work with. In a time when customer attention and service is hard to find Bob is a credit to profession. With a Managment and Service I experienced I will go back, no qiestion. read more
