Every person (local or tourist) should go here. Get a table outside or inside. Inside a little small but spring or summer under the tree it's a beautiful spot to be. The waiters are like doctors. I was alone and I was not sure they would seat me because I saw no tables with less than 6 persons. They cleared off a table they were using to expedite and prettied it up nicely and I am so happy they did because this meal was incredible! My favorite item was the fish soup. I could have eaten 2 bowls and been 100% happy. It is a good thing for me that this was my last night in Izmir because, I would have been happy to eat here every day for every meal. That would be pricey. If I am fortunate to return to Izmir, I will absolutely return.

We started with 4 mezzes from the display -- we got smoked fish, some sauteed greens, eggplant and potato, and smashed fava beans. Then the waiter suggested some fried calamari and we're so GLAD HE DID! We both agreed it was the best calamari we had ever eaten -- so fresh, so tender, perfectly cooked and piping hot! We had sea bass for dinner -- fileted and grilled over a wood fire -- so tender, flaky and perfect! We finished with a quince dessert, and a sesame-ice-cream dessert -- both exquisite! The service was warm and attentive, without being too instrusive. Overall, a fantastic meal!!!
