My son had a lentil soup that's as amazing. I had my staple item when I go to a Turkish restaurant, Beyti kebab. This beyti kebab differs from the ones o have had in the past. The meat wasn't the usual one they do on the skewer like Adana kebab, this was chunks of meat within a baked bread, not a wrap like they use for dorum. It was super interesting in terms of their interpretation, but I found it a bit greasy and lacking in salt. Nonetheless, I ate it because it was good. I'll probably have acid reflux later, but whatever.
My son and husbands family had pide. One was meat and cheese. They other had plain meat and another had ground beef. They were good.
We ended with a kunefe that was very delicious.
The staff was a super hospitable and accommodating.
The restaurant is clean, but not fancy or a very nice atmosphere making you want to stay there for a while. It's just a typical restaurant on the side of the road.
