While visiting my hometown, my cousin wouldn't stop raving about this cute local coffee shop called…read moreBuzzBru--so of course, my husband and I had to check it out before heading back to AZ! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was super cozy and inviting. There were plenty of comfy spots to sit and relax, along with a few small tables and chairs. They also had a couple of little areas showcasing locally handmade goods, which was such a fun touch--I even found the cutest cactus coffee mug! We each ordered the Beehive (a cinnamon honey latte with oat milk), and it was super tasty. Before we left we also grabbed a bag of their espresso beans to bring home. The staff were so friendly and easy to chat with, which made it a nice experience. We will definitely stop in again the next time we're in town!

The place has a variety of seating options, from cozy spots for small groups to larger areas for bigger gatherings. I decided to settle in for a bit of work and some devotional time, and it was the perfect setting--comfy, cozy, and peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, too. I found my new favorite drink, the Thor, and I'll definitely be asking my local coffee shop to recreate those flavors! I'm going to miss getting my coffee here. If you're in the area, Buzzbru is definitely worth a visit! Oh, and I couldn't resist grabbing a sweatshirt--can't wait to wear it! They also have local vendors to check out while you're in there! Some great stuff to see! Grabbed a couple of candles for home.

I'm not often a big Sonic fan, but my son was really craving their blue slushee drink. Because,…read morewell, he's twelve. Not seeing anyone other fast food joints along this stretch of road, I gave it a shot. We did the drive-in so we could eat in our car. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken strips and was told that it would take about 5 minutes to cook them and asked if that was ok. The order was brought to us faster than that, so I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fine, our orders were both correct (which is not common at fast food places since we both have special requests). While it's not exactly fine dining, it met our needs and expectations.

Sonic has really gone downhill. Picked some up in Brigham today for something different, and the food is so disappointing. The Jr burgers should be called toddler burgers because they are teeny tiny. Smallest Jr size of any restaurant I have ever been to. They forgot part of our order which sucks since we don't live close enough to run back and pick it up. And the chicken tenders are practically paper thin and tiny with much more breading than meat. They literally look like squished nuggets, and look pathetically comical compared to the pictures on the menu. The drinks are smaller than I remember, too, and the rainbow slush has a very odd aftertaste (almost moldy). I couldn't finish mine. NOT worth the cost. We won't ever go back.
