Their website is exceptionally convenient, and recommended lots of great songs for us to consider for our wedding. It was fun to fill out the song list together and we were able to export our playlist to Spotify to test it out while we were driving or doing other things. Fred was very responsive when we had questions, and he always made sure that we were on the same page. His experience and gregarious nature made our meetings before our wedding fun and easy. Fred was very flexible and accommodating when we dropped some last minute changes on him by incorporating a harpist into our ceremony and Photo Booth. We also got a copy of the Photo Booth pics which was much appreciated and unexpected. Fred had the backup songs the harpist was going to play in case there was an unforeseen event or emergency. He even showed up early to make sure the harpist had everything she needed such as a mic. His coordination, care, and time made a huge difference in our wedding. During our wedding Fred and his team kept everyone entertained when our after-ceremony pictures went long, and they were able to adapt our event timeline to fit the remaining time perfectly. We met Fred and his team at the wedding expo held at the Eagle Glen Golf Club where they came highly recommended, and were trusted by the venue. Fred was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and do not regret our decision!!

Not only was their music perfect, they took care of me like a dear friend to relaxed my crazy nerves at the venue while waiting to get inside and set up as it seemed like we weren't going to have enough time. He completely took care of our schedule, instructing our guests about what was happening. The music catalog was so perfect..he was sensitive to the volume so our guests could still have convesations at the table, yet perfect for our dancers! He was funny, engaging and just the most perfect MC. I received so many compliments from my guests about him. His uplighting created an even more beautiful atmosphere too. A million stars to Soundgarden's Fred and Billy!!

    If I could give zero stars I would. Ben was hired for my daughters Quince. I didn't want to have to…read moreworry about anything on this special day. In Aug of 2017 I hired LUXE for my event the in July 2018. Below are a few of the issues * Ben said he had other events at this venue, so he would take care of the bartending, no issues. 3 days before the event he told me he couldn't get the license for the event to bartend. He thought he could get by without having the proper ABC license at a city community center? Really? We had to scramble and purchase the alcohol ourselves and then hire a separate bartender. The plan was to have a closed bar. So this caused a lot of issues and additions cost. *Ben was paid an extra fee for "special linens" for the cake,m gift and coffee tables. These were supposed to be above and beyond standard to make it look really nice. What I got instead was cheap white polyester linens. *Ben was also paid extra for a backdrop for the cake and main court table. He didn't supply the backdrop for the cake table at all, and the one he used for the main table looked awful. Bars and other items laying in the back showed up in all of our pictures, ruining them! * After going thru the venue details, Ben said he only needed an hour to prep everything before the start of the event. He then stated if he could get an extra 15 minutes it would help him out. So I paid for an extra 30 minutes to the hall. My event started at 5pm. Now after 6pm he still wasn't done setting up. It took him 2.5 hours to finish setting up. Family and friends starting helping putting linens, center pieces, and plates on the tables to help out. This was quite embarrassing. * After the event was over we had a few hours to get the facility cleaned up. If it was not done in time, I would lose my deposit. Of course this was no skin off of his back. I had to stay and have family and friends assist with the clean up otherwise this company never would have been done in time and I would be out even more money. * Some of my guest also commented that while he was setting up he was helping himself to alcohol! Very unprofessional. * When I spoke to Ben about these issues and let him know I felt I was entitled to some sort of a refund for all of these issues, as others have mentioned her became very defensive and refused and said sue me. He told me I was very ungrateful and was down right rude. He is definitely very unorganized and very unprofessional. Do not risk your precious event and day with this company, you will definitely regret it.

We decided to use his services for an intimate engagement party and we now have him booked for the big day. He was very polite and punctual. He discussed all matters with us prior to and he came through on all of his promises. He was very patient with our guests and held his crew to the same standard he held himself. I never once had to ask him get something done because he was always one step ahead. Looking forward to working with him again.

    I really wanted to support a local, family-owned business like Julie's Party Rental in Grand…read moreTerrace, but unfortunately my experience was frustrating and disappointing. I placed an order for a porta potty (which was a good deal as it included a sink inside compared to other companies). I also got 4 tables, 38 chairs, and two large number balloons. I paid the deposit, and everything seemed in order. However, no one contacted me about the delivery schedule. They tried to drop everything off two days before the event. There was a holiday but my event was on a day afterwards. This was strange and inconvenient. I asked for it to be dropped off the day of instead and they agreed. A couple of days before the party, I asked if they could also inflate some latex balloons I had bought. They gave me a quote over the phone, for the helium rates, which I agreed to, and they said they would add it to my order. The day of the event, I still hadn't heard anything about delivery, so I had to call them myself. Delivery went fine, but I had to pick up the number balloons and latex balloons myself. That was okay, since I needed the balloons anyway. They did blow up my balloons and I paid extra for weights, but they did not attach the balloons to the weights -- which I thought was odd. They simply loosely tied them into a rough knot. No one explained anything to me, and I was rushed out the door with no instructions or heads-up. They then focused on another customer. While setting up for my event, a gust of wind came, and the untied balloons flew away -- more than $50 worth, completely wasted. I was devastated, especially because this was my actual day of my birthday. When I called the company to explain, I was told it wasn't their responsibility because 1) I brought my own balloons and 2) tying them to the weights is considered a separate "arrangement fee" -- something no one ever mentioned during the phone call or in-store. I had already spent over $250 with them, and if I had to pay for them to tie them to the dang weights they should of told me that. This small but important detail ruined part of my event. It was incredibly frustrating to not be told upfront. Eventually, they agreed to redo the number balloons, which I appreciated, but the situation could've been avoided entirely with clearer communication and better customer service. I understand they're a small business, and I wanted to support them -- but they need to be more transparent about their policies. Customers can't guess what's not included. I still had a great birthday despite this, but the experience with Julie's was not a pleasant one.
