I got a virgin Moscow mule and it was not good, very watered down and probably the worst I've had. Would recommend just getting shots here. The music was not hitting for most of us and we were shut down when we asked the DJs would take requests. The dancefloor was completely empty. Spent probably 20 minutes watching others play pool before leaving.

(Kari's Rating 5.5/10)…read more Came here with a group of 8 for an aprés ski and they charged half of us coming in a $10 cover just "because it started getting busy." Which it wasn't inside at all where our table was. Very loud and rowdy and the dj played the same parts of songs over the three hour time span we were there. Our server was half attentive, but she kept wandering off when we wanted to order more drinks-which just kind of made it difficult. We couldn't find our server for the rest of the night so we ordered from other random servers. We ordered a few buckets of beer and two poutine's. Which ended up being $48 for two small bowls that's essentially just really soggy fries- But to each their own. It's not the restaurants fault, it's what we ordered. We did order the regular truffle fries and they were much better! We also did a round of green tea and tequila shots, all shots were $12. Pretty cool for a first time experience but probably wouldn't come back, as it's overly crowded, champagnes flying everywhere and the bottle service sparklers were so strong it smelled a little like chemicals -but fun while we were here.

Buying tickets: There's one machine where you can pay with card and then a line to buy tickets and food. It's much easier (and cheaper by a few CAD to pay at the machine. I'd suggest getting there a little early to get your ticket, especially on Tuesdays. Food: Single combo $17 CAD - large drink, popcorn and candy, $16 if you pay at the machine. They have other options like double combo, kids, etc. You fill your soda on your own which is nice and they have options for different salts to put on your popcorn. Ambiance: The theater is pretty dingy, you can tell they haven't updated it in a LONG time. Don't come here if you expect luxury or the new fancy seats that theaters have. The seating gets the job done but was not built for comfort.

The Fathom Stone Art Gallery & Studio has a lot of really interesting sculptures and other artwork…read more Much of it is carved from Brucite - a stone I was not familiar with until my visit to Fathom. The stuff here is really pricy, but it is also really high quality and well made. Very artistic and cool! A lot of thought, time, blood, sweat, tears, and love has gone into these creations. My favorites included a number of carvings of Bears, trout, and salmon. We met Jon Fathom, the owner of the shop. He took a good bit of his time to explain to us how things are carved, where they obtain the Brucite, and some of the work that goes into his pieces. He has many other pieces of art and sculpture available for sale from other artists as well. I would love to own some of the Bear carvings, but they are out of my price range. But I still appreciate them for their beauty and the craftsmanship that when into them! Very enjoyable!
