Lovely little jewellery store in a mini strip mall area just inside Sherwood Park. Totally didn't notice the sign by the door about having to get buzzed inside the second door haha... (probably to maintain max # of people in store for restrictions) I was immediately greeted upon entering, and although the space is quite compact the setup is still great! Lots of shiny sparkly things to lay eyes upon Jacqueline was able to point me quickly to what I was searching for and hot darn I'm so glad I went! The items I had in mind where from American online sellers, and there on the counter was exactly what I was thinking of buying, but now it's there, it's cheaper, AND it's local! Super excited for the available selection, and also the costs of each type - colourful & fun or sleek & sexy Thankfully I was referred there by another company - Get It Laser Engraved - so now I can support 2 local places! It's jam packed with all sorts of gently used clothing. There are clothing, shoes and accessories for men and women. From casual to more dressy wear. Prices range depending on the brands. Everything is well organized according to types of clothing items and sizes. There's also a section for clothing from Aritzia and Lululemon. I was able to find a Wilfred brand camel coloured long sleeves top and a pair of black Aldo ankle boots. I'm sure the store is picked over but I still saw many items I was interested in. I think there's a good flow of new stuff coming in from people selling their stuff to the store. Overall, this place is off to a strong start! We don't really have a good thrift store in this part of town. It's a welcome addition in my opinion. I enjoy shopping at the other Plato's Closets but they're far away from where I live. This location is the closest to where I live. I can't wait to come back and find more treasures!

Linda, the owner, is particular about what she accepts. It shows in the stock she carries. Second, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Linda is helpful in finding certain brands. I've walked in and asked her for more of one brand and she walks around the store and knows where each piece of that brand is. How does she do that, I wonder? (Hmmm). Third, the prices are affordable and about the same you'd pay if you went to a mall and bought non-designer clothing. Here you get premium clothing at mall prices. Finally, every dollar I spend here feels like I'm doing something good for the planet and good for my community. I'm recycling and I'm putting money into local business. What I'm not doing is unknowingly supporting unethical clothing manufacturing in remote areas. Sometimes, I stop in here to browse but each time I've gone here with a specific goal in mind (ie. buy a new outfit and purse) I find just the clothes and accessories I'm seeking, always a great find.

Additionally, people arrived in town at different times, so not everyone was able to come in at the same time to get their suits and try them on. They were very accommodating with that as well. I have had my Harley in for inspection & maintenance, & also street tires installed, and the mechanics are pros! I used to be a mechanic & worked on all my own stuff. I'm totally confident in letting the folks at Sherwood Motorcycle do the wrench pulling for me!! And the lady at the parts counter & her staff are knowledgeable, friendly & fun to talk to! They have an amazing inventory, especially for off road machines, but also some street bike stuff, helmets, gloves etc, and I'm sure there's more parts and accessories, you just may have to ask!
