We cannot recommend Maurer Painting highly enough! From the moment they stepped into our high-rise condo in Denver, their respect for the space and attention to detail was apparent and we knew we were in good hands. The team was fast and efficient. They completed the interior painting project ahead of schedule without compromising on quality. Plus, they were so kind, personable, and communicated with us throughout the project. They took all the right steps to make sure our furniture, appliances, etc were covered and protected. It felt like they truly cared and went above and beyond to ensure that every step was transparent and stress-free. One of the highlights of working with Tami and the Maurer Painting team was their eye for design. They didn't just paint walls; they helped us select the perfect modern yet timeless colors to complement our space and style preferences, transforming our condo into a true reflection of our taste. The end result? Absolutely stunning. Thanks to their guidance and professional touch, our condo feels brand new and the ambiance feels much more elevated -- I didn't know that was possible by repainting! Maurer Painting definitely exceeded our expectations for a painting business. Their service and craftsmanship have earned them a loyal customer in us. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Had a collection of unfortunate interactions with the owner Tami based on confusing proposal formatting and wording. At the end of the day, I was forced to pay ~25% more than I had anticipated. Instead of actively listening to customer feedback and genuinely wanting to improve her customer experience, Tami doubled down and said that she mostly works with contractors (and they've never had a problem). She even went as far as accusing me of 'milking' the situation for a discount. I've never had a small business owner act as entitled and arrogant in the face of legitimate customer concerns. read more

I was utterly impressed with Maurer Painting. They did such a fantastic job with the interior of our house that we did not hesitate to have them paint the exterior. I appreciated Tami's attention to detail, prompt communication, help with color choices, and professionalism. read more

Tami is very professional and anticipated all the issues with our job. The crew was respectful and efficient. They did a great job in a timely fashion. So happy I chose Maurer Painting to paint my house. read more

We hired Tami and her team for a full exterior painting of our 1965 bi-level. Tami got us scheduled quickly and started on the agreed date. She also provided great color selection guidance. Her team had to do extensive prep to deal with weather-beaten trim and peeling paint but they accomplished the whole job within a week with outstanding results on the paint uniformity and trim coloring. Our friends used Tami's team for interior painting and were also very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Maurer Painting for any paint needs in your home or business. read more

From start to finish working with Tami and her crew was easy and stress free. Tami worked with our vacation schedule to ensure our interior painted was done while we were away. We returned home to an immaculately painted, fabulous home. Many thanks to Tami too for her color consult, I definitely couldn't have done that without her too. Tami knows how to listen, provide feedback and make things happen. Tami wasn't satisfied until the project had several walk throughs and a some touch ups. The crew were always friendly and professional and we wouldn't hesitate to use Tami and her team again. read more

Beautiful job! They painted our entire house and gave us great suggestions for color and type of paint. They were very professional and finished on time. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future. read more

Maurer Painting Review. I needed the entire interior of the home (ceilings, walls, closets, doors and all trim) painted before I moved in with my furnishings and family. Maurer Painting was able to schedule and complete the job as agreed. I was not in town when the work was performed and when I was finally able to see it, it looked great and there was no mess. One wall was painted the wrong color and when I emailed to discuss, Tami worked my job into the schedule and resolved the issue in less than 4 days. Maurer Painting runs professional crews and gets the job done on time! Worth every penny! I will be using them again for the kitchen cabinet repaint job!! BRAVO! read more

We used Tami's company to re-paint our windows after purchasing a new house. While Tami was very nice and easy to work with, the quality and professionalism of the crew was less than ideal. We are still cleaning up the drips of paint left all over our hardwood floors - they did not use drop clothes. Scraps of paint all over the house and yard, dirty rags left all over. They put our dirty window screens on top of our nice couches, and I went around each day they were here moving their dirty supplies off of our furniture. I work from home and several times they barged into closed doors without knocking - thankfully I was decent! read more

We are extremely pleased with the interior paining the Maurer crew did for our house. It totally transformed the look and feel of our Love Lodge in Lyons Colorado. Tami is an absolute joy to work with. Professional, understanding, fast in her responses, and she runs a great crew. The crew were on time every day, clean and respectful. Got the work done as promised, on time with no mess or concern. They worked quietly, unless they needed to talk to each other which was a plus because my wife works from home. They left the place looking as good as new, if not better. read more

Tami and her team are the best. We hadn't painted in several years and decided it was time. Tami was recommended to us and we couldn't be happier with her professionalism, attention to detail and the quality of work that her team performed. From the initial consultation to the final clean up they did exactly what they said they were going to do in the time that they said that they would do it. Without hesitation I would recommend Maurer Painting!! read more

My experience was almost identical to Mary Ann's (read her review in the link "7 reviews" at the bottom of the recommended one). The owner Tami Maurer over promised and significantly under delivered. I knew I would pay more (her bid was higher than the others) because she offered her personal "hands-on service". What I wanted (and what was included in her bid) was her regular visits to the property as a liaison between the crew and myself. I wanted a company who had a longer-term relationship with its employees (anyone can hire a kid off of the street) and I didn't want to have to manage the job myself. The day before the start date she had me meet with one of her "employees", said she was leaving town and to contact him with any questions. They were supposed to "wet sand" the surface but because Tami wasn't in town that week they spackled it instead- which was a problem because he put it on so thick that it didn't dry. The job was put on hold for several weeks until it was dry enough to paint. Bottom line is that she sub contracts out the work (not an "employer" of 17), she doesn't oversee anyone and her bid wasn't even close to the final bill ($2,000 more than I planned). She is very attentive before she gets a deposit and is immediately available when she wants to get paid. You can get this kind of job from just about anyone but at least you only pay for what you get. Buyer beware. read more

Maurer Painting painted the exterior of my house, and did a fantastic job! I had not painted the house since it was new, 14 years ago, and Tami's crew did a great job at every turn. They spent more than a day caulking and prepping. When they started painting, I realized that the color I chose did not look good. Tami responded swiftly; she stopped the crew immediately, we chose a new color, and within an hour we shifted gears. Another point that impressed me was that the external painting crew took such great pride in their workmanship. They cleaned up after themselves every day, and really like their job. This crew had worked for Tami for over 3 years, which is a long time in this industry. As an added note, Tami's company has also done internal painting for me, and the inside crew that did the work had been with her company for over 10 years. The house looks amazing, and every single inch is covered with paint. It looks brand new. I thought that I was picky, but Tami is pickier. After the job was done, she and her crew walked through the job, identified a few spots that needed to be fixed, and finished the job. By the time I did the walk-through, there was nothing left to fix. The job was PERFECT. Not a surprise, though, because when Maurer painting did a much smaller inside painting job it was perfect too. So, lets talk money. Tami's quote was fair, and very competitive. You won't regret choosing this company for your painting needs. read more

I had Maurer Painting paint my home two years ago, and then again when I purchased a new home last month (May 2014). I cannot recommend Tami and her team enough! Both times she helped immeasurably with color selection and was incredibly patient with my reluctant decision making. The final product looks incredible and was done on time and on budget. She was super flexible with coordinating the painters with my close date, and the painters were professional and skilled. read more

My hubby and I are in the midst of repainting our house. We were struggling to really find some colors that would look really look nice with some pop on our house. In doing some research on the Web, I reached out to Maurer Painting in Boulder, Co. Tami Maurer is the owner and has assisted me in determining a few colors I have seen on one of their photos. I chose to reach out to Tami as their work appears beautiful and due to some wonderful reviews. Maurer Painting also has an excellent BBB (Better Business) A+ rating. I would have hired Tami's company in a heartbeat; however, my hubby and I reside in a different state (MN); yet Tami still chose to help us and she is very busy. Mary P. read more

We hired Tami and her team right before Christmas. They did a great job and she had creative ideas that helped us with some touch-up places on trim and using chalkboard paint. We were very pleased with the job and would highly recommend Maurer. read more

Gave Maurer another opportunity (interior painting). Again, they declined to provide estimate (as advertised), said they could not perform interior paint job for 5 months. Please, stop advertising estimates, etc. if you are unable to perform even 2 room interior paint estimate, etc. read more

Maurer painting is a great company to work with. Recently they painted 4 rooms inside my house and just completed painting the outside of my house. Tammi, the owner, was very helpful in helping me pick out colors and was exceptionally easy to work with. The crew was very careful of my garden and completed the job in a very timely manner. Tammi came over after the job and checked to make sure everything went well and if she saw even a little area that needed redoing, the crew was here the next day to fix it. I would highly recommend them. read more

We recently hired Tami to paint the entire interior and exterior of our house. From the beginning Tami was helpful and available. She did a wonderful job of helping us pick colors and we couldn't be happier with what we ended up with. She regularly stopped by our house to check on the site and see if everything was going well for us. Last week she came over with a roll of tape and marked all of the places that need touching up and she was super thorough about it. The next day her crew was back to do the touch up work and our house looks awesome! read more

Maurer Painting really is "as good as it gets." Tami's attention to detail is amazing. When she came to give an estimate for painting the exterior of our house, as well as the exterior of my parents' house, she noticed right away that the underlying paint was lead-based. Her crew was meticulous in the prep work for both houses. Two different teams worked on the two houses--both were careful, tidy, respectful, and took pride in their work. Tami was quick to spot any needed touch-ups, and the painters were quick to fix them. We are very happy with the results and would recommend Maurer Painting in a heartbeat! read more

I worked with Maurer Painting during renovation my new townhome, which is 30 years old, and was in great need of some fresh color. I found Tami Maurer, the owner, to be very mindful and transparent in her estimates, helpful in finalizing paint and color, and her painters, who were both friendly and expert in their craft, did a tremendous job in all phases of the work, including wall prep, taping, baseboard caulking, painting, and clean up. What I also appreciated was once the work started they were here every day until it was done, often working long hours. I loved the results and there were no hidden surprises regarding costs. I highly recommend this company for its thorough and utterly professional work and great energy. read more
