The progesterone cream I was prescribed is made from sweet potatoes which my research as well as my pharmacist and my regular gynecologist said made them safe. And not only that, they all agreed with the Westmount Wellness Center's gynecologist...they were 'cancer protective', especially in women who carry extra weight (therefore produce extra estrogen). This is contrary to chemical progesterone. I am probably the only woman among all my friends who sleeps soundly and wakes up refreshed and it's thanks to the Westmount Wellness Center's recommendation to take bio-identical progesterone cream.

They never changed my dosage and after all the saliva testing BS I was told by Mireille that she can NOT increase the dose. I switched to Estrogel and I swear the next morning I had no more sweating after my coffee and after 5 months I still feel great and could shoot myself for not reacting sooner. However, this little health food store has single handedly convinced me that big, face-less juggernauts like Whole Foods and to a lesser extent, Rachelle-Béry are erasing the beauty of shopping at stores like Johanne Verdon. This small, family-owned store, despite its size, is doing an amazing job of providing organic fresh produce and a huge selection of products at incredibly low prices. Although I may find myself shopping at other health food stores, I rarely find any other stores which are providing the same products for less than Johanne Verdon. Incidentally, I like to come in and see what fresh produce is on sale; as products close in on their expiration dates, they are deeply discounted by the employees. For example, I have purchased organic celery still in great shape for much less than conventional celery at the Metro grocery store. Lastly, Johanne Verdon has the most Weleda products that I have seen outside of Switzerland and for much, much less than other stores in Montreal!

From the moment I contacted her, to the end of my session I was very pleased with Lucie's services. She was very informative about how to prep for my session before my appointment, and explaining the procedure during the session, as well as what to expect therafter. Her clinic is located in NDG, it is a discrete and welcoming therapy environment. Very clean atmosphere with a private bathroom located within the therapy room (it also had a bidet). The process was not at all what I imagined it would be like, it was much better actually. I thought the process would be humiliating, messy and painful. But it actually was not painful at all, because she pays close attention to changes during the session to make modifications when they are needed. It was a clean process and she uses disposable kits, so you can be sure the materials are clean. And I did not feel at all humiliated, because Lucie was friendly yet professional. It is also reassuring to know her therapy practice follows a rigorous standard according to the CCHCC. I definitely recommend the benefits of colon hydrotherapy, and Lucie's services. From the receptionist to my therapist, the service is 10/10. As for Anna, she is awesome. She is an excellent listener, and works on the issues that troubling my parts of the body. I also love, at every end of treatment, she offers always some recommendations from daily exercises or certain natural drinks for the stress that I carry especially from health care workplace.
