Truth is, so does your dog...so does your cat...so do your parents, so do all your family members and friends, and so do you. To die at home in your bed is the most beautiful and comfortable way to die. My dog of 13-years, Boo Boo, died so peacefully in his bed. Boo Boo was one of the most wonderful loves of my life. She explained everything and after the medication was given she told us that Michelle had passed. I was holding M and Linda went to her car and brought a beautiful wicker basket with a silk pillow and blanket and placed Michelle in the basket and Linda placed a small stuffed animal next to Michelle. My daughter and I were so very thankful for Linda. Michelle was then taken in the basket to be cremated. I miss Michelle everyday.... Even though the vet that came to my house confirmed my veterinarian's name and street address with me, and the follow-up emails had the correct name, Lap of Love sent the crematorium the WRONG vet name and address. My cat's ashes were delivered over 2 hours away from me. I had to make numerous phone calls and send multiple emails to find out where she was and to get her ashes delivered to me. It's appalling and it was a horrific experience. I told both them and the crematorium they need to put some type of quality control check in place so this never happens to anyone again.

When I went back to Sandy Springs Animal clinic the vet took NO RESPONSIBILITY and didn't apologize but only said that it was the first time in his career that this ever happened. He said he has no money to cover the cost for the tube he left in my dogs esophagus/stomach That I had to pay for his mistake!! Very very disappointed and now in debt because of his mistake! I gave it over to God! I also pray the Dr understands the damage and mistrust he caused.

I wish I had thought to actually take a photo when they showed it to me. But that essentially is what they pulled out of Mocha's ear. They actually had it in a plastic baggie for me to keep if I wanted it ‍ Anyways I politely declined. Although it did look cool af. When I brought Mocha into the vets office yesterday I thought I was just bringing him in to check out his ear then would have to take him back in for the procedure. The doctor surprised me when he asked me when Mocha had eaten that day. I asked why and he said "well cause if you leave him here we will just take it out today and you can pick him up at 4". After picking up my jaw off the floor (mainly due to my baby boy going under anesthesia unexpectedly) I left. The vet was so fantastic! Mocha was quiet on the ride home and a little drunken sailor for the evening, but he wasn't in pain or uncomfortable anymore. He's completely back to his normal psycho self. Definitely recommend Pleasantburg Vet to anyone in the area needing a vet. They have been our vet for over a year now and I'm very pleased with them.

I was able to make an appointment easily over the phone, about a week in advance. I had a great experience checking in, loved the vet Dr Stauffer, and was in and out in under an hour! I felt that my pet was taken care of and I left with a good understanding of the underlying illness and required care. The place was smaller than expected, which wasn't an issue at check in but was very crowded when leaving (multiple large dogs in the small lobby, a desk/workspace in the patient waiting area instead of behind the counter, just overall crowded). Loved all of the vintage pet artwork. Overall good experience!
