The other review you see here, which is a glowing review and totally undeserved, was written by her husband and violates the terms of yelp. Valorie ABANDONED us at the near beginning of our project, causing many problems with the builder. Parts of her design, which we paid generously for, were unusable. She ordered (and we paid for) hardware that did not fit the space. When we returned it to her, she did not refund us. This was a highly unpleasant experience. Be warned.

Aaron Rosales, owner of Green Honu, started doing sub contract work for me in August of this year (2013). Since day one Aaron has proven to be honest, trustworthy, hard working and punctual. He is professional and diligent and an overall nice man! Need I say more? I trust him enough to have given him a set of master keys to all of the units (about 30) after he worked for me for less then two months. When I take time off Aaron fills in seamlessly. He gets along well with everyone and I can highly recommend his services without doubt!

I seldom hire new sub-contractors, as the job requires a true professional who can handle the detail, skill and speed required of caring for multi-million dollar properties. When I interviewed Aaron, I immediately liked and trusted him. Since the first day he came to work for me I have found him to be thorough, efficient, highly skilled, quick to learn, versatile, fair, and punctual. He has shown himself able to master any job in a short time (some of which took my other contractors a full year to come up to speed). He handles unexpected situations with a calm managerial attitude and makes excellent decisions when left to his own devices. He is also highly personable and gracious, honest to a fault and a man of integrity. He is imbued with a team-oriented spirit and takes great pride in doing a perfect job. It's now been almost 6 years since we did our first estate plan with Hawaii Trust & Estate Counsel way back in 2019, and we had to make some updates to our estate plan. As usual, their office staff was fast to respond, and it was an easy task to setup a video call to go through our changes. Eventually we got everything decided on what we wanted updated. We met with John during one of his visits to Oahu and went through all the signatures and updates, such a great an easy process! They also are helping us put our house deed into a trust. I like that they're a smaller company and that they're fairly young compared to myself, as I'd like my daughter to be able to work with them if she should need to in the hopefully far far far distant future haha.
