Great vibes on a weekday morning! Had plenty of staff working, keeping the line moving quickly, so I barely had to wait. No appointment necessary - just walk in and they will take care of you. Honestly worth the wait even if it is busy there. Classic community barbershop feel in the best way. Overall very welcoming atmosphere and highly recommend if you need a quick haircut! read more

Best barbershop in town, in and out quick for a great price with awesome service. Only had to wait for a couple minutes before being called up, I love how it's walk in and not some online appointment crap places are using now. read more

I stopped in on a Saturday and sat with Gino. It was my first time in and it was a busy morning. I was 4th in line and I was also with my 4 year old daughter. There was also a little boy getting his haircut by Gino. It went smoothly for that little boy. While waiting, my daughter decided to make some friends, because, she isn't afraid of strangers, or being kidnapped. Luckily for me and my wife, the patrons of Matts At the Buzzer aren't known to be breaking the law in broad daylight with 3 other patiently waiting long haired peeps. I ended up befriended a woman with her son. After her son got his haircut, he was more handsome than he came in. I was hoping Gino would have that same effect on me. My turn was up. Gino did his magic. I went home to show my wife my new haircut. We now have two daughters. Thanks Gino and Matt. read more

This was the worst haircut ever. They guy who cut my sons hair insisted the sides could not be helped. Attaching photos for reference. He insisted this is how it is done. No, sir, I am not ever spending one more cent on your business ever again. read more

Don't listen to 2+ year old reviews what's the point the staffs are different by now, my friend lived by this spot and I decided to give it a try - my son came out looking super handsome probably the handsomest 7 year old ;) My friends' 4 year old had a completely diff style of haircut he also came out super cute Overall we have been attending this place which is 45+ mins west of where we live, but we make the drive because it's worth it! :) We went to another recommended "shop" since we cldnt be seen here was super upset with my son's haircut and will only be coming to Matt's if I can help it read more

Decent haircut for a decent price. They move some serious volume. I'm now a regular read more

The guys are friendly, talented, and efficient. I have witnessed some very intricate haircuts while waiting for our turn. My 4 year old son is autistic and they are so fast and patient with him, it's hard to go anywhere else. Highly recommend for kids cuts! If you are looking for a high quality barber, check out some of their work on their website. You will not be disappointed! read more

I bring my son here and it's such a great place. It has a classic barbershop feel plus they are involved with the community. The service is top notch, quick, reasonably priced and they are great with kids! They also do custom design haircuts and they always come out amazing! read more

I love this place. In and out like cheap ***. The talk and chatter is always entertaining. My modeling days are behind me so I don't need or expect a perfect cut, just a quick, cheap presentable barber shop special. It's a good place for boys to learn about being a man. The late night hours are convenient and keep the lines down if your timing is flexible. A small town experience in a great town. read more

This place is so good would 100000000% recommend. Great place to get a nice and simple hair cut. They also work fast and out in about 20 minutes. read more

If you like cheap haircuts in a filthy run down shop with racism flowing from the barber's mouth, then the Sports Clip is for you. I have been here twice and both times during what is normally the busiest time of day, after work, they only staff with one person. So when you should be in and out in under 30 minutes, it takes over an hour. The place is covered in dust and 20 years of hair. They rarely sweep the floor so you walk through a mountain of hair to get to the chair. This place is not worth the wait or the price. Plus a racist barber is not for me! read more

Given this place is in a town with basically no other barber shops that are open past 5, I can see it getting some solid reviews. If you're looking for a professional haircut this is not the place to go. I'm staying in Millbury briefly so I haven't been able to go to my regular barber but I can easily tell there is a huge difference in quality of the haircuts. At $12, it's not a super expensive haircut, but the barber (and yes there is only 1 barber) simply gives the bare minimum haircut. Tips to the barber: - Hire another full time barber. - Take more pride in your haircut and genuinely work to make it fit a person. - learn how to properly fade someone's hair! read more

What a great place! Took my son for a walk-in cut. There was quite a line and no check-in but somehow the barbers are able to keep track of who came in first. The wait was not too bad despite how busy it was. About 20 minutes or so. They were so quick and professional and the style came out so great! And you can't beat the price for such great service and quality of cut. Highly recommend read more

Where else can you get a $7 quality haircut these days? Matt & Josh are great. I've been coming here ever since I moved to Millbury 8 years ago. read more

Nice people, made me feel comfortable right away. Very friendly. The decor was great for me. Made it fun and interesting. Bathroom was clean. Good hair cut. Good price. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular. read more

Brought my 5 yr old son for a haircut. I had quite the wait given it was a walk in , which I would expect. The barber was a black gentleman who's name I do not know. I thought my sons haircut was fine until I got home and discovered how crooked his lines were. This place rushes though their cuts and quality is jeopardized. I can't speak for the other barbers here but the one we went to was horrible. When I got home I had to fix my sons hair. I tipped the guy after too. I will not return. read more

Horrible experience overall. My usual barbershop was closed and I was in need of a haircut. Decided to go here after I heard good things from my cousin. After the long wait I was finally in the chair and I told the barber I wanted a skin tight fade with a hard part. Barber went so fast he was basically just hitting my head with the clippers. Continued to say "alright man you're good to go" when I then asked can you do the hard part which was horribly crooked. I simply asked if he could line up the beard with the haircut and I was giving extreme attitude and he put the clippers to it for about two seconds and then basically pushed me out of the chair. Had to go across the street to get cash because of course they're cash only. And he guy seemed even more angry when I didn't tip. Worst haircut and experience I've ever had. My 19 month old was in desperate need of a haircut. We were in town visiting our family before moving out of the country and I had gone to Matt's a couple times years ago. That was for me and not a kid and we couldn't survive a bad haircut right before leaving. Matt didn't disappoint. The shop was as I remembered and just some rearrangements of chairs and some added memorabilia. There was a nook that my son could play with some toys while we waited for his turn (we were next and less than a 5 minute wait). My boy hopped up on the chair and Matt asked what we wanted and I told him that as long as he still looked like a little boy and I didn't come home with buzzed head so the wife wouldn't kill me. He said no problem and had at it. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend. Oh and for only $8. read more

Matt and Josh are the best ! Great place for a cut and catch up on the local buzz. Have been going there for years and will continue to till I lose my hair ! read more

Totally disinterested. Cut my hair, forgot the beard trim I asked for. Was confused re the trim. I've had better service at this shop, so it's probably just this dude. read more

I have been going to Matt and Josh for years. They're the only ones who have cut my children's hair starting at their very first little boys haircut. $8 for a kids haircut and $10 for a men's is a great price. They do some pretty awesome designs as well. The atmosphere is excellent(cartoons on tv near the toys, sports and/or price is right on the others). The guys are always slinging jokes and having fun. It can get pretty busy there on a Saturday afternoon, but don't let that fool you, they can bang out haircuts pretty quickly. My family and I still call it by the previous name "sports clip" and probably always will. Great price, great work, and great people. Support your local small business. read more

Guy spent about 6 minutes on my hair. Hair of different lengths all over my head. NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Crooked on the back neck line. What a joke. Didn't even use talcum powder at the end. I'm pretty sure he's never seen the inside of a real Barber shop... read more

I took my 3 1/2 year old son here today so we could both get our hair cut. The place was recommended to me by a friend who had recently moved into the area. The owner did both of our cuts and did a great job. My son was relaxed and had a smile on his face the whole time. That's not how he usually is when getting a hair cut. There was a lot of hair on the floor sure but to me that gives the place a kind of old school barber shop vibe that's missing from most places. There were no pictures on the walls with people modeling horrible hair cuts. Instead we were treated to pictures of local sports legends like Larry bird and Marvin haggler to name a couple. I like this place a lot and we will be back. We got the hair cuts I asked for. That's the most important thing to me. All this also came at a fantastic price. Keep up the great work guys. See you soon read more

Nice people, fantastic prices, great haircuts-Matt and Mike can shave ANYTHING into the back of a kid's head! We've had several cool monkeys, and friends have gotten sports logos, words, other designs. No nonsense, affordable, fast. Great with kids and adults. read more

If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would pick. This place sucks. My hair is so uneven on the top. In addition to the awful haircut, when I showed a picture of some guys haircut that I wanted, I was told that I'd have to lose a lot weight to look like that guy who was in the picture. Personally this didn't really affect me, but it could've really hurt someone. Overall bad haircut and bad language in this place. Do not recommend. read more

This place fucking sucks! about 3/4 time that a go to this place they fuck up my hair! I ask for a little off the top and I walk out with a buzz cut! lie seriously fuck you guys! I show you a picture and ask for that and my haircut looks nothing like it! you used to care but now you could honestly care less about this so you just lost my business! and I'm not recommending this place to anyone ever again read more

great guys, if your into really quick hair cuts for 7 dollars, not really my style I feel they just pump out hair cuts to get high dollar counts...... great for children and like I said these two guys are really nice. read more
