5 stars for the large floor room-- for the VARIETY of brands, styles, & sizes. 5 stars for FLOOR…read moreSERVICE. 5 stars for PHONE SERVICE. Five stars for DELIVERY by a fast & friendly independent contractor. And lastly, 5 stars for the SALE that ran thru Dec 7! That's 25 stars (YES!), but unfortunately I can leave just 5 STARS. After canceling my Sleep Number mattress & wanting a new bed quickly, I ended up here. I'm so happy I stopped in! The showroom is large. I spotted the following available brands: Temper-pedic, Sealy, Serta, Sleepy's, Posturepedic, perfectsleeper, purple, Stearns & Foster, Beautyrest, Tulo, & KINGSDOWN. Customers can lie down on each mattress & adjust the bases to find their match. I took full advantage of this-- I have no pride:) The sale allowed customers to purchase a king mattress for the price of a queen, & a queen for the price of a twin, although not every mattress brand was included in the special. Additionally, customers could earn $300 off the "extras," although that amount could be applied to the cost of an adjustable bed frame (which was my choice). Available extras sold here are mattress protectors; pillows (memory foam & others); blankets; throws; sheet sets; & possibly additional items I missed. With EVERY Mattress Firm bed purchase, there's a 120 night sleep trial. You may return the mattress within that time frame; HOWEVER, bases may not be returned or refunded. NOTE: if you return your mattress, you will pay a $99.99 "return delivery fee" & a 10% restocking fee (not to exceed $250). If you exchange rather than return, that $99.99 fee will be applied to your new mattress, if the replacement mattress is higher in price. Yet, should you tarnish the mattress in any way, it cannot be returned or exchanged, so purchase a waterproof mattress protector here or elsewhere-- I found a highly rated queen protector online for $51 rather than spending $100+ for one from this company. While in this store, I met the most delightful saleswoman-- Natcha. This young woman, who hails from Puerto Rico, could not have been sweeter or more helpful. Before I exited the store, she provided me w/ a written quote. I returned the next evening to finalize my purchase (after first assuring that Sleep Number had refunded my $5,600). Although Natcha was not in the store on my return visit, staffer Linda processed the sale for her-- very friendly woman as well. My hybrid matress w/ adjustable base (that offers two height levels) not only cost me $1,600 less than the Sleep Number bed, but it could be delivered almost immediately-- two days later, although I requested a day further out. (Delivery of my bed less than one week later was $199, which is the set price regardless of mattress brand. The removal of the existing bed is always included in the price.) Check the company's webpage for the "MattressMatcher," a quick 5-step process to determine the best mattress brands & styles to meet your sleep needs, although I found the process a little too simplistic to be of great help. Financing & purchase options are available, including 0% financing if you qualify. I have now slept in my Temper-pedic Queen "Medium Hybrid" bed (which means it has coils as well as Memory Foam). And I love it, especially the quiet adjustable base w/ remote. (The only drawback I've found is that unlike Sleep Number queen mattresses, this Temper-pedic one came w/ just one remote.) I love that EACH ASPECT of my dealings w/ this particular Mattress Firm location was positive! Thank you, Natcha. It's great to be back in a bed (an excellent bed) after seven years of sleeping in a recliner!

After deciding what we wanted we told him we would be back. We returned today and were helped by Diana. I honestly cannot say enough about how these two made our decision easy and painless! The process so far has been very straightforward, with our mattress being delivered tomorrow! If you are looking for a mattress, without pushy sales personnel, but instead, funny and kind staff go see Diana and Evan in New Tampa! Thank you both!

Extremely disappointed with both Mattress Firm and Tempur-Pedic. DO NOT make any purchases here! We…read morepurchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress protector specifically to protect our mattress, yet the protector failed and allowed liquid to penetrate the mattress despite proper use and timely reporting. The former store manager, Genaro, initially assisted with the warranty process, but after he left the store, the new manager essentially stated that it was entirely Tempur-Pedic's decision whether or not to honor the warranty. Tempur-Pedic then acknowledged the protector failure but declined to repair or replace the mattress, relying on "at our discretion" wording in the warranty. The most frustrating part is that the protector was marketed as protection for this exact scenario. If the protector fails and the customer is still left with a damaged mattress and no meaningful resolution, then the warranty provides very little real value. For premium products with premium pricing, I expected significantly better customer support, accountability, and willingness to stand behind the product. Terrible experience with the store and even worse experience with Tempur-Pedic customer service.

I have been working with Jim for years, and from the first time I met him, he has always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the products you offer. He provides great, straightforward advice and is very transparent and fair when it comes to pricing. Jim is the best in the business. Whenever I have a question or need anything, he is always quick to respond, whether it's help with warranty issues, quotes for appliances, or recommendations--be it via calls, emails, or texts. He consistently goes above and beyond expectations. I recommend him to all my clients in real estate. Most recently, he answered numerous questions and assisted me in purchasing the Café Series range of my dreams. He also helped me connect with Premier Installation, who provided exceptional customer service. When it turned out that my electrician had installed the wrong outlet, Charlie from Premier Services Installation came out on a Saturday morning, to change it for a reasonable fee--because Jim had asked if he could help me out so I wouldn't be without a stove over Labor Day weekend. I am so grateful to have met Jim and to have so many wonderful appliances from Famous thanks to him.

Even buying directly online has better customer service.

Their kids' furniture showroom is on steroids. As soon as I walked in, I started to second guess what I was really there for. Ultimately, I wanted a blue dresser and matching nightstands for my son's room (he's bittersweetly growing out of the changing table phase). My sales person was Lou and he was very kind and knowledgeable. I really wanted the furniture right away and since I'm a teacher and couldn't be home for the delivery, he advised that I could head down to the warehouse in Lakeland to pick it up myself. I foolishly thought I would fit everything in my SUV. That was on me. As a result, I ended up taking TWO same day round trips to and from North Tampa to Lakeland to get all of the furniture I paid for. The furniture I purchased is of high quality and VERY HEAVY. Thank God for kind neighbors who helped me get it up my narrow staircase. If I'm ever in the market for new furniture, I will likely return to this Rooms To Go. I do like Ashley and other brands but R2G has been around since I was a kid and that should be worth something.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Rooms To Go…read more I purchased a sofa from them, and after normal use, it caused visible, permanent damage to my flooring in the exact areas where the sofa was placed (see photos). These are not minor marks--these are deep stains/pressure damage that cannot be removed, effectively ruining sections of my floor. When I contacted the store and customer service, I expected them to stand behind their product. Instead, they refused to take responsibility, offering no meaningful solution, no repair, and no accountability. Let me be clear: This was normal use, not misuse The damage is directly linked to the sofa's materials/feet The issue appeared exactly where the sofa was positioned For a company of this size, this level of customer support is unacceptable. Selling furniture that damages flooring--and then refusing to address it--is simply not okay. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying furniture here to: Be very cautious Check what materials are in contact with your floors Document everything Because if something goes wrong, don't expect them to help you. Very disappointing experience.
