We looked at a lot of mattresses and for the comfort and the price Lake Mattress was a great deal. I was always skeptical of the website reviews and the stories of how refreshed people felt after sleeping on latex. I used to wake up more tired than when I went to bed and my shoulders and back just ached (side sleeper) upon wakening. I have not experienced any shoulder pain since we started sleeping on this mattress. Your mileage may vary since body types are different but this purchase was a win for us. We do a lot of web comparison shopping and the pricing proved to be a great value as well. What stuck out the most from our purchasing experience however was the passion these guys have for the products they make and sale. We live close enough to the manufacturing facility that we could actually select the latex types and weights that worked best for us. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted but the staff educated us around myths and options to the point we changed our requirements somewhat. That experience won't be practical for most and can also be duplicated to a large degree in the store, but more importantly the pride, passion and ingenuity that was self evident during our visit is what sold us on the purchase.
