Because of Covid-19 we really researched the Murphy Cabinet bed we wanted. So we knew what we…read morewanted and also how much we were willing to pay. Another local bed store sells the same brand we were looking for but was on the high side. Then we called the Sleep Shop. They had the brand we wanted AND at right price. We concluded the purchase of our cabinet bed all by phone. We paid by credit card and were told by Devon we'd get a receipt from one of the delivery guys. Which we did. Personable SERVICE ended then! On the day of delivery (mid morning) we decided to call The Sleep Shop to see if we could get a time frame for delivery since we were not given one. I also asked if the cabinet bed needed to be put together or would it be fully assembled before delivery? Devon not only didn't know these bits of necessary information but conveyed to me in a 'very annoyed' tone of voice that he either didn't care or was too busy to check. The two delivery guys did call us 1/2 hour ahead of arrival..BUT had to be reminded by my husband to please 'mask up' but otherwise they were very nice. The Cabinet bed is perfectly beautiful! But we would not recommend The Sleep Shop because of 'after service' attitude. Sometimes it's better to pay more for BETTER service! (3 stars for the Cabinet bed NOT the service)

I would go to multiple furniture stores, and I would not see any bed sets that I liked. The wood just wasn't right. I found this location on Yelp and I decided to go check it out . I am so glad I did at first when I walked in it just looked a little small like maybe they don't have a lot of furniture, but I got the pleasure to meet with Daniel he guided me and said that they have multiple bedroom sets. So what he did he showed me a lot of books filled with all the furniture that they have. I had a seat and I looked at all the books. There were so many of them that I actually liked. I had difficulty picking one. They were all very beautiful bedroom sets and exactly what I was looking for according to the color . I ended up picking a bedroom set . The delivery was very quick and very sufficient. The guys built everything for me in a good timely matter. They picked up all their trash. Everything went great. I am in love with my bedroom set. I was still in the hunt for a couch and I found one that I really liked and I sent a picture to Daniel and I asked him if they carry this one and he said they do so I ordered it. I went back inside and ordered it. My couch got delivered with in the next day. They set it up for me same experience and I got the couch that I really wanted. Overall, if you're looking for any furniture, I definitely recommend this store. They have so many books you could look at they have so many furniture there anything you would want. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and he was very helpful and he listened to all my needs. I am very satisfied with the furniture. I got here. I would definitely be back here again.

Short EBay Type Version Positive feedback:…read more Robert took very good care of my wife and I for this purchase. We would most definitely recommend him and buy from him again . Longer Yelp version Positive feedback: I did not know anything about adjustable foundations when we started out. However, after going through a 30 day try out and return for refund from a Big Box mattress retailer in Folsom, I became self-educated. We went to Robert at American Mattress in Jackson and told him our current bed status and need for improvement. We settled on a Serta Motion Signature Adjustable King set with two 'twin ex long" Serta I Series Honoree Super Plush Top mattresses. We were in a spot, because the original return left us with only a Queen to sleep on and my wife's mobility was a factor. So Robert arranged for a loaner bed system for us to use until the new mattress/foundation was delivered within a week. His installation crew was very polite and professional even through delivery days presented bad weather and a long steep driveway. As far as pricing and buying local Robert was very price completive with the big box mattress store from the Valley. Robert was very flexible and patience with us and always exhibited professionalism and patience. Slight Nutural feedback: There web site could use more end user information about 'industry jargon" and a "definition glossary" with visual examples of what the "vast matress"size configurations are. First I like a soft mattress that I sink into, so I went with their softest mattress which was rated a firmness of 4.5 out of 10. This proved to be too soft and caused back and leg pain. I contacted them and they sent me the next firmness level, our "Most Popular Model" 6.5 out of 10. Wow! Way too hard! I contacted them and said I would stick to the 4.5 model because I could bulk it up with several comforters. They informed me that I was out of the region for them to come and pick up my mattress! Thanks! Now I have another mattress to get rid of myself! So after months of this I knew I had to get something new, and mattress are NOT cheap, but I was at wits end. It was super convenient, not even five minutes from my house! We were the only customers when we came. I mean, mattress shopping has to be my least favorite pastime. Rick was our sales guy. He didn't really have much to do as far as sell. We knew what we wanted, we were a pretty easy sale. We wanted an adjustable queen size bed. We picked out a bed, picked frame, picked mattress cover, and sheets. We are converting our office downstairs to a bedroom and the Queen was perfect. After we set up financing, Rick set up delivery for Sunday, five days away. He told us the delivery people would call the day before. That day came and they said it was on order and maybe Tuesday? Monday came and they called and said maybe Thursday? Well, at first Rick said they were waiting for the frame, then a female sales lady said they were waiting for the mattress? It was so frustrating, I couldn't get a definite answer? After waiting patiently for almost two weeks, we had enough! We told them to forget the sale and we cancelled! We actually found an even better bed thru Amazon! Yeah it was disappointing experience, and we really would've been happy to support this franchise. But it felt as if they just wanted the quick sale and didn't want to be truthful in fear that we would just go somewhere else and we did. Now I'm having to warn others and to shop around.
