They also stock Melissa & Doug items in the back of the store with infant & toddler books. There are $1 books and special items too. I spent a good amount of time at this Bradley's Book Outlet browsing through the various travel books (some a few years old) which were all deeply discounted. There were several Europe and Florida travel guides on the shelf and they also stock discounted "For Dummies" business books too. I picked up a few travel journal books for light reading, which were less than $5 each. I also purchased an Urban Dictionary and a Roadside Americana book for under $10. I would keep returning to this Bradley's Books and their other locations to browse the changing selection of discounted books. You'll never know what you'll find here!

We were the last customers on a Wednesday evening and had a very nice cashier who allowed us to finish our shopping even though it caused her to be a little past closing. However, my opinion changed after my 14 year old daughter selected a gem stone necklace, only to discover it was broken when she opened it. As I said earlier we were the last customers, so Thursday morning as we left to return home, we stopped back to exchange it only to be told very rudely, "ALL SALES FINAL" it was a $4 necklace that a 14 year old girl used her own money to buy. The fact that it couldn't be exchanged is one thing but to talk to a young girl so rudely and unprofessionally was upsetting. When we return to the area, as we plan to do, we certainly will take our business elsewhere.

It's a tradition to stop every time I visit Cook Forest. I can honestly say it's the best store around for gifts or anything relating to Cook Forest. Some of the local gift shops have nice items - sure - but I have found they are mostly overpriced or mostly all homemade items. Parkers has a great selection of everything from toys, t-shirts, mugs, sandals, purses, jewelry candy etc. The list goes on and on. I enjoy every visit and always find something new to take home as a treasure. I love the jewelry the most!! Parkers has a nice selection of homemade jewelry as well as sterling silver and much more. They are open into the fall season. If it's before Memorial Day or after Labor Day I always call to ensure they are open. I was not able to "check in" when I visited the store over the weekend. I kept getting an error message stating I was too far away to check in but - I was there? I think it might be a mailing address or something off on how it's listed on yelp. If you are in the Cook Forest area. . I recommend stopping. Its a fun store to check out and the best in the area no doubt. I look forward to my next visit ...

It's anchored by one of the best Ollie's I've ever seen that has been recently upgraded and a better than average Goodwill. The interior has a few other businesses, including two that keep it busy, the PennDOT Driver License Center and the Fine Wine & Good Spirits state liquor store. Clearfield is in the middle of upgrades and being repositioned. The enclosed walkway is very dated and most owners would have it removed, but that's not possible due to the buildings design. Roses discount store is going to replace the former JCPenney, which looks to be a good addition. Several vacant storefronts need to be filled and a few could be merged together. Several other businesses are located outside of the mall including AutoZone and Harbor Freight. The Long John Silver's is a more modern location and clean. Overall, Clearfield Square is well positioned as a local's mall. It's not going to attract people from outside the area, but will be useful for those who live in and around Clearfield.
