(I shouldn't have to attempt to cope with that and I can tell you both my appts with her were atrocious despite coping with her defects. Calling it genius or insulting my comparative "average" intellect is very silly btw.) I now have a great endo and an appropriate treatment plan that I work with her on and she can handle my multiple autoimmune diseases, even researches them and watches clinical outcome rather than remaining ignorant and condescending. Listening comprehension is the best diagnostic skill an endo has; someone in a craze who can't listen and who is always late, upset, and frankly seeming on the verge of a breakdown as well isn't going to cut it for my situation. I want a professional, not someone who put zero effort in while behaving unprofessionally and arrogant. No faith in this doc. My condition has improved under real care, slowed progression. My current endo was disappointeded by Nathan's notes btw. Inadequate and ignorant.

She is just like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory. She comes off as uncaring and condescending. I assure you she is not any of those things. She is just not as socially aware as most of us. When you talk, it stops her thought process. She gets frustrated with this and it comes off as rude. I write a list of things I want to address with her and she literally goes down the list with you. She will respond to a list! Let her thought process have free range with your list and you will be pleased! I am fortunate enough to be married to a Sheldon Cooper type, so I get it. Some people so smart inside their own heads they have difficulty explaining things to those of us with average intellect. Just like Sheldon, she is quite charming once you accept who she is and react accordingly. At the end of my last appointment, she hugged me! And I hugged back!
