The first impression was lovely place, however upon consultation a deposit was asked of me and a friend wich i found fishy. I'd never had to pay any other salons a deposit in the past, but agreed as they seemed to know what they were talking about. On the day of our appointment i was with a completly different person to whom i had a consultation with, throughtout my appointment i felt products were being pushed on me and the staff seemed to have a hint of sarcasm and patronising tones to them.. As my appointment came to an end my friend was still getting her hair done. She had just had it bleached and now they were bleaching it again! She was very fair so there was no need for this at all and ended up with a patchy mismatched and completely different colour to what she had asked for, as the second lot of bleach was on she felt sick and it had to be rinsed sooner, although she didnt have to pay the remaining total i still find it unprofessional that her hair was bleached twice being a natural blonde anyway. That night she called me in a panic to say her scalp was weeping and she still felt unwell, she went to the doctor the next day and was diagnosed with a chemical burn and prescribed antibiotic cream. It took over 6 weeks for it to heal! I feel this salon could be a brilliant place to get your hair done but the staff need to re asses the way they are speaking to customers, do a more in depth consultantation and bin the deposit!
