I…read morewanted to have a better handle on my business income and decided to use a popular application to handle the bookkeeping and financial side of it. That turned into a tremendous time-consuming learning curve that I didn't anticipate, and it took me away from focusing on my practice. In the process of an online search for a new accountant, I found S&S Bookkeeping Solutions and gave them a call. That's when I met Sylwia, who has been a godsend for me. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and accounting, as well as mastery of QuickBooks, the application I tried to figure out on my own. She has helped me not only gain a better understanding of the bookkeeping and financial side of my business, but also has set up an automatic and streamlined process to keep my bookkeeping in order. I would highly recommend Sylwia and S&S Bookkeeping Solutions if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy partner who is also professional, friendly, and so easy to talk to! She is able to break things down into a language I can understand, as I learn this side of my business. I am so grateful and happy to have found her and would highly recommend using S&S Bookkeeping Solutions for your bookkeeping needs.

How do you rate a tax and accounting firm? You rate them based on past experience and performance…read more After many years of using the same man in another state, I was forced to find a new solution. I don't have a complicated tax return, but after attempting to "DIY" with some junk HR Block software, I surrendered and did a Google search. Steven and his team are on the job. My first meet was 4 weeks before the Covid2020 lock down and my return was still done ahead of time and it was disinfected. The Hamilton business focuses on efficiency and keeping money in my pocket. I'm not in progress of moving my businesses accounting needs to Hamilton. Very glad to have found this firm and Steven. Big thanks to Ginny who runs the show.

It's been a few years since we worked with Hamilton and I'm finally ready to leave a review. We had…read morea horrible experience and I would not recommend this company. We were referred by friends and all seemed great at first. When things are going as expected, no problem. The issue occurred when a filing deadline was missed. Mistakes, errors and miscommunications happen. But how a leader handles these speaks volumes and in our case, we were met with blame, avoidance and excuses. Even though we asked to speak with Steven directly, he refused to get on a call with us. We were told "you have only one tax advisor but we have many clients". That should never be said. Instead of speaking with us directly, he had somebody completely new thrown into the situation talk to us. She was great and did her best in a truly difficult situation. But how he handled the situation was unacceptable and spoke volumes of how conflict is handled. I would not recommend.

We are EXTREMELY disappointed in the services provided by Mark Czuba at Business 2 Business…read moreSolutions in Lake Villa, IL. Mark failed to file our 2020 Annual Reports, which resulted in the Involuntary Dissolution of our businesses. I discovered this by checking cyberdriveillinois. com. We paid over $700 to reinstate our businesses. Mark filed our 2020 Tax Returns late which resulted in our having to pay a late fee and penalty. The general journal entries Mark provided to adjust our 2020 year end figures have contained, by his admission, many mistakes (e.g. transposed debits and credits, wrong amounts, wrong accounts, etc). Currently, our financial statements are askew. Our phone calls and emails go unanswered.
