Overall 0/10...our first visit we showed up 15 min earlier than we were supposed to, then were told…read morethe time we were given was to fill out paperwork...which was 30 minutes before our appointment time...we then waited an additional hour to be seen. Barely an apology...they just said, "things happen"! No x-rays or anything basic done. Today I call and they put me on hold after me explaining that my daughter was indicating tooth pain...after being put on hold, the receptionist came back on and asked me what I needed again...I asked if she were the person I had just spoken to and she said yes...then again I restated what I needed and she then cut me off and said they didn't have any appointments so I would need to call around. I said this is why I established care for my daughter here for, so she could get seen when she needed to. I was told to "call around"! Not sure if we're being discriminated against because my daughter has special needs but I'm beyond disappointed/dissatisfied! My daughter deserves the same respect and consideration as every other kid! They did NOT give my child a "tour" and there was not a misunderstanding! I do NOT recommend!

I was recently looking to switch dentists, as my old dental office was very impersonal, always…read moreextremely busy, and constantly pushed vanity services (veneers, teeth whitening, etc) that I didn't want or need. So, after perusing some dental websites, I thought I would give Amundson's a try. When I left I immediately called my husband who was in awe over my excitement of going to the dentist! :) The receptionist was so helpful and nice. The hygenist was fantastic and so caring. I was just in my first trimester of pregnancy and often experiencing nausea so having dental equipment and yucky tasting toothpaste in my mouth was likely not going to help my gag reflexes. But the hygenist was always asking me if I felt okay and making sure I was doing well. The appointment was so thourough too. They talked me through everything they were doing, gave me specific details on how my teeth and gums were doing instead of just cleaning them and saying "looks good, your all done" like my old dentist used to do. Then when the dentist came in he was very friendly, spent more than 5 seconds with me and again was very thorough and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about them. When my husband went in for his appt the next week, after he sent me a text "Yep, you were right. A+. They are great!" I highly recommend their office!

Wife, Kim, is the friendly contact and office manager, while husband Roger is the skilled dentist. A real plus for me. For years, my needs were limited to regular cleaning and oral exam. Twice in the last year, however, I required urgent care and they responded. A broken bridge, root canal and insertion of a second bridge have all occurred. I can attest that in addition to Dr. Amundson's caring personality, he is competent and operates with gentle, skilled hands. He also uses state of the art technology, keeps you informed as he works and certainly met my test for quality treatment.

The expectation was made that my first appointment would take a couple hours. When I arrived to my appointment I was greeted and only had to complete a few forms via computer. I was called to the back shortly thereafter. Everything was explained to me every step of the way. All my questions were answered, and I'm at ease with my future work. I left with appointments set up and an estimate of what my out of pocket portion will be. I definitely recommend DDA!!!!

An update to my recent DDA situation. After my previous review, a claim(the one that was promised,…read morebut not filed & "probably wouldn't pay anything anyway" was finally filed, not until after my first review. I am still wondering why that was said to me. Don't all charges have to be coded and amounts made/charged? I did not receive total I paid to DDA, but my dental insurance's allowance. For that, I guess I am supposed to be grateful. I was also accused(?) of not getting other people at DDA "involved" in my concern(s). After their charging me for repairing expensive and fairly new work and continued response "I am not part of medical Staff" while I was asking questions, I was not in the mood to hear any more of what I felt was condescending lip service, from anyone. I can't imagine anyone would feel differently, at this point. How did I end up being charged for what I feel is shoddy work? Was I supposed to "barter" about the charges before I was allowed to leave the building? No thanks. The main gist of a followup letter from office manager was to remove my original review. No apologies of any type. It also seemed to infer I was to blame or the main problem, even though they admitted "a problem was corrected"?? My original review is all true. I am not sure sharing reviews does other than help others that may end up with same experience. I will say I have done business at DDA for many years and have had some good experiences. This was not one of those.
