I dismissed him within a month…read more My opinion would be that he does not provide enough information to help a client, or the steps needed to reach your goal. He presents himself on the first meeting as someone I thought would get the job done. It didn't take long to see that he was was not that interested in my case nor in giving me the timeline that I needed to know and asked for. I dismissed him within a month, and have an excellent attorney that has helped me 10 fold. My advice, choose an attorney that has more experience.

so to start this off I was very skeptical about mr.cigolani upon first time meeting with him. Baggy…read morepants, oversized suit jacket, polo shirt partially tucked in. Honestly first look it was like he just got out of bed.. I let it be can't judge a book by its cover so we go on talking and all seems to be going ok up until Cigolani found out it was donuts at the mall parking lot I was charged with he then stated "I don't care if your guilty or not it p!$$es me off that you kids go up there and do that in my back yard in the mall parking lot." I then asked "you own the mall parking lot?" he then said "yes basically I live right on the other side of it so everything that goes on there affects me." To mind everyone 1st dui in pa for me as well no drug or paraphernalia charges or open containers followed with this charge. Court date comes around finally cigolani shows up 20 minutes late with no notice of he was going to be late or anything (dressed same as first time we met) he then tells me he isn't going to be able to do much for me in this case as I'm just a "young, dumb, and very very stupid, immature little kid." we go into court and the trooper who pulled me over says on stand "I have 0 DRE expertise so I have no skills on to tell who is under the influence or not." So I went to bring that up to Cigolani and he tells me "shut up you don't know what your talking about now do you want me to sit here and defend you or do you want me to leave." So I sat there with my mouth shut to see if he would defend me as expected! His turn came around to question troopers. Questions he was asking were nothing proceeding to get the case dropped he just beat around the bush did not ask them their skill levels on DRE did not ask about any other conflicting evidence to prove a dui besides "general impression" he did not bring up the fact the cops don't even know who you are most of them the first time they meet you is on a traffic stop. So how would a cop "not trained in DRE" be able to tell if someone is dui or not. We did a dui test 2 times in around 6-8" of snow in negative temps. Passed each test besides 1 but the trooper had to call another trooper to ask why and the other trooper explained "that does happen when it is cold outside especially with negative temps like tonight you can bring him to the station to do further testing." So I agree to go to the station to prove my innocence. We do multiple tests ones I have never seen before they had me in a pitch black room then shined a flashlight in my face and the trooper goes "ya his pupils got small he is under the influence of something." I said "aren't your pupils suppose to get smaller if a light is shined into them if I was under the influence of something wouldn't my pupils stay the same size no matter what the light was?" I was ignored... none of this was brought up in trial etc. I then hired another attorney outside of cigolani explained all issues and such he pulled records and saw it all the new attorney is more then confident we can get this dropped now and seen cigolanis poorly made efforts to represent me. I will say after all is said and done and my case does get dropped we will be proceeding in other steps against mr. Cigolani here for a malpractice claim as he has not returned any of my phone calls/emails june or July of 2025. Now 2026 last email was sent on 9/10/2025 to the email on his website that if I did not hear from him in x amount of days I would be filling out all complaints against him I can and getting a new attorney to proceed her so I'm not left in the dark and taking charges I did not do and let Mr. Cigolani basically charge me because it makes him made that kids are doing donuts in a parking lot over doing drugs/drinking at a house with a possibility of overdosing. Sad that he would like for the world to be that way. I am going to be getting a public assembly together about this so the public is fully informed about his actions. he cannot continue to do this to people something on your criminal record can effect you forever. He some how on my charges has me charged for this case twice now caused me to loose my license for a total of 5 years on this case all because Mr. Cigolani handled this very very poorly.

I have worked with him on several cases both professionally for my business and for my kids. He has gone out of his way to help my family. He even came to my house when he didn't have to. He said that he had someone call several times to cancel my appointment. I showed him my phone and said no one ever contacted me. He then said well you need $750.00 now. I was with two other people and one said we are here for a $75.00 consult. He then said he needed $750.00 to start anything. There was no consult done. He was very rude, spoke harshly to me, and clearly did no consult even though I was scheduled for one. He had no idea who I was or why I was there yet said he had someone cancel my appointment "several times". Not only was this a total waste of my time but he made me feel absolutely horrible due to how he spoke to me, it was like scolding. Never ever will I use him for anything, ever!
