Jacey was so accommodating when we had to reschedule day of when my daughter worsened. The day of the reschedule came and she really captured my vision for this shoot with the location and my 2 outfit changes. We've have had a handful of shoots from engagement, our wedding, maternity to newborn and this was one of the easiest and most enjoyable shoots we've had. We were done shooting in a little over an hour, with a toddler (huge win!). Jacey showed me one photo on her camera the day of with no edits and I just knew they were gonna be gorgeous. I got married May of 2017, and still have yet to receive my wedding pictures. The young woman who came out to take pictures was fabulous however, Mellany has been holding onto my pictures for five years. She won't return calls, text, emails, etc. I couldn't even give credit for the quality of work because I haven't see one photo. At this point I am asking myself why not just send my pictures? We were extremely disappointed with Robert's professionalism and work product when we hired him in…read morethe past to provide engagement and wedding photography services. Since my original review was removed for lack of detail, here's the full and ugly truth: Robert FAILED TO SHOW UP to an appointment for our engagement photo with no notice, leaving us waiting/wondering, wasting our time and money (for make-up). He claimed this was due to his assistant not getting us a message. We were clearly not pleased, but decided to give him another chance, and rescheduled the shoot. The product was mediocre; only one photo we would have selected, but Robert chose to convert that image to Black and White. When we asked for a color version of that image, he couldn't provide it, stating he did not have the original (Seriously?!? Even I, as an amateur photog, use a non-destructive editor and back up my work!). Given this blatant unprofessional conduct, we cancelled the contract for our wedding, hired another photographer, but Robert refused to refund our deposit. I didn't bother with taking him to court (but should have for breach of contract). So, if you want a photographer who fails to show up or practice proper work-flow, hire Robert! Otherwise, look elsewhere.

While he was certainly focused on getting the best possible shots, he managed to direct people in a very gentle way. He wasn't afraid to take charge when needed. His second shooter was also very friendly and easy to work with. To top it off, we got the final photos just over 2 weeks after the shooting day.
